Dr. Rowland has been my family for 33 years. I can honestly say that under his care and his referals he has saved my life. Unfortunately I have contacted a very rare and very aggressive cancer. Gerry has been with me through my journey, through the highs and lows. This man has shown me compassion and anlent me an ear when I needed one. Rest in peace Gerry you were more than just a doctor to me. I will miss our talks. God bless.

My condolences to Doctor Rowland’ s family and friends. Boy did this bring up the past. He was certainly NOT a good Doctor to us! Miss diagnosed my son Noah- told us nothing wrong with him that big lump on his forehead- well
He has fallen and it will heal. I said No/ no bruising- it’s something else. He sent us on our way. Two weeks later, it’s larger then ever. Went back to the clinic, By chance we got to see Dr Hevenor, in right away for XRay. Very next day in sick kids hospital for emergency brain surgery. Surgeon removed most of his forehead. Tumour was malignant. Neuroblastoma!!
I called Rowland to inform him, left a message, not even a call back to discuss. The two weeks may not have saved his life but it may have prevented the tumour from getting so large that his forehead had to be removed! Again, condolences to his family and friends but …….leave it there !

I’ve just read all these reviews and they are all spot on. Dr. Rowland was my doctor, however he had to reduce his number of patients and my family had to get cut. I adored this man because he was straight to the point. Yes, he would run in and out, however, more than once I called him back in and said sit down, we need to talk. My husband was having serious issues and I called him at home! He said go to the hospital and tell them I’m on my way. I had 6 children under his care, and he didnt mince words with any of them either, and my children loved him. He caught my daughter’s diabetes, and pnemonia and my son’s baker’s knee. We laughed together and I saw him more than once weep at the loss of a patient. I have learned over time that you get what you give. I told him to his face that he was not God’s gift to mankind, however you are a very nice man. I never had a problem with him and my heart is broken that he is no longer with us. Because I see nothing written about him as a memorial, and he deserves so much more respect than what I have read, I send this review now, to little too late. I adored this man. He was a great doctor to me and my family and I recommended him to new people who also loved his no nonsense approach. Dr. Rowland, younger loved and you will be missed so so much💔💔💔

If you need to make an appointment to see a Doctor and yours is Doctor Rowland. Here’s some friendly advice. Go to the Emerg across the street. You might have to wait a bit but the care you receive will be much better. If your issue can’t be dealt with perhaps you might get a referral which is a no no with Dr Rowland. Why can’t we change doctors in this town. It’s ridiculous.
