The staff at the clinic is actually perfectly fine, but I do not want their competence and service to reflect positively on Dr. Fowke.
After arriving an hour late for my morning appointment (as she was about an hour late arriving to the clinic at all), I had the worst experience I think I’ve ever had with a doctor. No bedside manner, did not listen to my concerns, became extremely defensive that I was not opting to see her for a procedure (despite the fact that I have never seen this doctor for anything in my life), and was extremely unprofessional throughout the appointment. My needs were not even close to being met and I will ensure to never return to this doctor in the future.

I was sick for few days and had bloody stools today. So I went to a clinic as a walk in since my home doctor was off.
After about an hour of waiting, I could see a doctor who was familiar because she was the doctor at my first child’s delivery.
During the exam…
Dr.: How old is your kid?
Me: 4 and 2 years old.
Dr.: Did I not do the delivery of the 2nd kid?
Me: Nope
Dr.: Why you didn’t come back to me?
Me: Umm… not that big reason . (of course I had reasons !! But I didn’t wanna talk about it because I knew she wouldn’t accept it anyways.)
Dr.: Tell me why? I did your first child then why?? THAT IS UNFAIR !!!
Me: I don’t think so. I should be able to choose who I go see.
Dr.: Once you left me, you can not see me as a patient !!!!!!!!!
Me: ???
Okay then I am leaving. Bye.
Dr.: Okay. Bye!
I have never experienced this much unpleasantness at the clinic ever !!!!!
I was so sick and sooooo disappointed.
Can doctors do this to a patient???

I don’t think I have gone in to see her at my actual appointment time ever . The clinic operates as a drop in as well, so it interferes with timing a lot. I have been seeing her on and off for 7 years, and every time I have only been given a bandaid solution. Prescriptions being her favourite remedies for everything. Just recently i have Encountered a situation that finally has me never going back. I have been on a hunt for a new doctor for years and avoid going in to see her at all costs if possible. No need to go into grave details, but just know that you are only a dollar sign, not a human with real feelings and thoughts.
