Empathetic, honest and to the point. The care provided is efficient, timely and attends to all concerns.

I only dealt with Dr. Warkentin in the NICU. For 2 weeks I didn't know what was going on with my daughter. When I asked him questions, he would wave me off and give me blanket statements. When I became frustrated and started crying, he called the social worker. From then on he would avoid me and skip seeing my daughter if I was there. He had an amazing resident who stopped him one time during rounds to ask me if I was alright and if I had any questions. Too bad Dr. W. didn't learn anything from that young doctor. I also felt that he was working against us and caused us to stay longer than we should of. One other thing is that my daughter was born with a condition. Dr. W. is obviously very uneducated about it and places everyone in a box. He was trying to show his residents traits that these kids 'have' and then became frustrated as my daughter proved him wrong with every thing he did. Overall he needs to work on his bedside manner and understanding.

Wonderful doctor been taking my child for years. However recently it’s become problematic trying to get appointments and paperwork that has to be completed by a doctor done. Seems to have far too many patients and it’s affecting the patients that have been around for years. This issue has been since the chief of paediatrics title came. I hope he considers focusing on existing patients and helping them more then he has been lately.

He's great with my son, but has been 45+ minutes late for every single appointment we've ever had with him (5 appointments in the last 3 years).

This man is the best. He’s been my best doctor I have ever had. That’s between the 25 or so doctors I have been to in my life. He’s blunt but very caring

Dr. Warkentin was amazing with us, i am unsure of what is going on with my son, he has been the one who is following through in doing tests, referrals etc. He has been so kind and compassionate.
