Type one for 45 years, have seen my fair share of doctors and endos and have finally found one that knows how to treat the condition. If you want to make handling your diabetes a lot easier and more practical, he is well worth a visit.

When I first saw Dr Lee he was on the ball and very knowledgeable.
His attitude quickly changed over COVID and I feel he lost the plot! “Burnout” maybe.
Spends the video appointments talking about himself and comparing himself to a plumber who gets paid more than him apparently.
Threatens to send you back to your GP if you don’t like what you hear.
And not just myself but many other patients I’ve spoken to won’t go back to Dr Lee to be spoken to like children.
He needs to learn some empathy because the people he is treating are often very sick people.

Was very discouraged after seeing Dr Lee today. I went in with my husband and was barraged with comments about how he would need a four hour appointment if he was to go over my condition/s. It sounded like he was sending us away from the appointment and I nearly left. I believe this may have been in response to reading the referral. This did pass and eventually with prodding we did have some sort of appointment. I think one of the other reviews mentioned burnout and this may have been the reason for the obviously frustrated practitioner we saw today who seemed quite overwhelmed.

I have being seeing Dr Lee for 2yrs now. I have multiple illnesses. Dr Lee take the time to explore each one of them . He makes sure I am receiving the best treatment. As I live in the country he does video calls and I go to see him in person . If I have any concerns health wise he always reply to my message and calls. If your medical condition is outside the square box . This is the doctor to see. Dr Lee is a very compassionate person and I am lucky to have found him to handle my medical conditions.

I’ve been seeing Dr Lee for about 18 months. At first I found him very empathetic, attentive, helpful and willing to listen. However in the last 6 months he has become overwhelmed. Messages missed, no booking system for telehealth outside of Banyo/Meadowbrook. I can understand wanting to help as many people as he can especially with the influx of Long Covid patients but I feel like his standard of care has dropped and maybe even burnout is imminent without changes. I hope I’m wrong and he has decided to start 2023 afresh.

There was some confusion about payment and he accused me of haggling. Also not open to hearing my perspective and discourage research. Disinterested, lacks empathy
