Dr.Demco treated me during my pregnancy and I had a horrible experience because I was an unwed mother it was like he judged me my whole pregnancy. He never did most things he should've done during my pregnancy. Not once did he use the doppler and I never did get my Strep B test. He too always lectured me on my weight gain during my pregnancy and I just didn't feel comfortable with him. I have a different family doctor now so when I do have another baby down the road I will make sure I do not have to endure what I had to the previous time.

After 2 yrs in Victoria and 2 yrs after specifically moving to Calgary to see the ‘expert’ endometriosis Dr, all of whom were useless to someone who was in excruciating pain 24 hours a day, I found Dr. Demco myself and was part of the patient-assisted diagnostic surgeries he did. I found him to be a little strange, yes, but without his assistance and his knowledge in follow up appts I probably would have ended up taking my own life to end the pain. 15 years later, I am just beginning to experience symptoms again which is a testament to the fantastic job he did. I’m saddened by the news of this kind of “loss” of one the VERY few doctors in Western Canada with pelvic pain mapping expertise and one of the pioneers in this area.

Dr. Demco delivered both my babies and it looked after me for more problems than I can count.
