i have gone to dr. demco over the last 14 years, and i do agree that he is sometimes hard to understand, but i do feel he tries. my surgery went well and was quickly tended to and i just feel that if you want to go somewhere for a visit, call a friend. if you want and intelligent dr. to tend to you, he might not have great bedside manner...call a friend

I was refered to him by my GP as I had ascites and he suspected ovarian cancer. After waiting over 3 months to finally see him, I was told that my doctor did not send adequate information to him so he refused to even speak to me any further. A very embarrassing appointment not to mention I was upset at the diagnosis and felt let down that he did not even bother to ask questions or do a physical and then request his nurse for further info from my gp. I never returned and was referred to another doctor. Thankfully the problem was not ovarian cancer as all the delays would have killed me by now. Not a nice person for a doctor.

I was shocked to see the news about him. I have been going to him for years and never had any problems. He has done 3 surgeries on me for different reasons and I have never had any issues. I have referred friends to him and they never had problems. I stopped seeing him in 2008 when I heard he was retiring. He will always be a good doctor in my books.

I saw Dr. Demco about 20 years ago when I was in my late 20s. The experience sticks with me because I felt violated. I was referred for breast pain, and after examining me he had me sit on the exam table naked from the waist up, as he stood a few feet away and just looked at me. It did not feel like a ‘professional look’. I tried to ignore it, but my gut was telling me that this guy was treating me like an object. I now wish that I had complained, but I think that at the time I would not have been taken seriously. Has anyone else had this kind of ‘inappropriate’ experience with him?

Dr. Demco has been my physician since 1985. He delivered my daughter and grandson and performed much needed surgeries that improved the quality of my life. I am disappointed he will not be able to treat me anymore!
