I really dislike this Doctor. Does not listen to concerns, thinks she knows everything, so if you question her she becomes snippy and short-tempered. Always in a rush, yet always behind. Follows all medical problems the same for every person. No allowances for different individuals responses. Also, not very knowledgable about many medications and treatments. Looks things up a lot. Bedside manner condescending and usually a brush off. I will be changing doctors.

called to make an appointment to bring my file up to date and transfer it to my new MD. the voicemail said they are closed today for the long weekend, so they are not making appointments, do not leave a message, if you need a doctor call telehealth. We_Do_Not_Care was not actually stated but was clearly the subtext. this is in perfect accord with the stern and argumentative hospitality that seems so ingrained to all of the secretaries at this office. yes, she does limit to one concern per visit, even if the two or three issues you wish to discuss are interdependent and hold the key to one another's correct diagnoses. money is more important than her patients, and it is clear that compared to her time, your time has no value. her being willing to admit she doesn't know is her best attribute. knowing where to look something up is more efficient than memorising entire textbooks by rote. general practitioners' primary role is one of diagnosis, and subsequent referral to a specialist. After I politely explained to Lisa Millstein my list of symptoms,she stopped, looked at me, and then snapped: "well, that's not my fault". Perhaps Lisa Millstein missed that session in medical school that taught aspiring medical professionals to treat patients with respect, but I believe that her response was profoundly unprofessional. Since when are physicians supposed to respond like that? Why did she snap? Couldn't she have offered solutions? Like a normal medical doctor? I echo the reviews that have already appeared on this website. Lisa Millstein is only in this for the money. She refuses to answer more than one question per visit, opting to instead request that you come in for multiple visits --- even when the issue is quite minor. I do not recommend this doctor. I believe she is a disgrace to the profession.

Dr. Millstein WAS my doctor for over 10 years. For many years, she was helpful, empathetic and supportive. However, there were a few visits leading up to the last visit; personal phone calls during my time (I get it; busy Mom), not wanting to do extra blood work based on my symptoms, etc. I then had an experience that I will never forget. I was really struggling with a health issue and asked if there were alternatives … she replied no. II asked if I could see a specialist … she replied no; if they catch something she didn’t, it would make her look bad (!). I then had a breaking point in her office, she told me that she treats 1000’s of patients dealing with worse things than what my issue was (aka ‘get over it’) and then rushed me out of her office in tears. It was that moment that I took my health into my own hands and started to search for a new Doctor. I’m happy to say that I’ve found someone who makes me feel like I’m heard and have also switch medication and feel so much better!

Dr. Millstein has been my doctor for over 10 years and has been an outstanding physician. The comments below about lateness are ridiculous because all doctors run late. I have found Dr. Millstein to be extremely compassionate and goes over and above the call of duty. She has called me personally in the evening from home to review medical tests with me and does not rush the conversation even though she has a family of her own. Dr. Millstein is thoughtful and thorough and has been an incredible support to me throughout multiple ups and downs.

Dr. Millstein has been my Doctor for more than ten years. Yes, she’s sometimes late but it’s because she takes her time with her patients and actually cares. She has only been kind, caring and compassionate to me and I’m thankful for that. I’m glad that there are still doctors out there that takes the time to listen.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Millstein for more than 2 years. She haven’t change a bit, if anything her attitude gotten worse. I don’t recommend her to any of my friends and family for a lot of reasons. First, she is usually late. I usually book my appointment at 9am and she’ll be late for 10 minutes. Her reasons are usually the same: traffic, weather, kids and construction. I remembered I had 11:30am appointment with her and her attitude was uncontrollable. Her reason was that she didn’t eat her breakfast. Not only she lacks professionalism, punctuality, and respect to clients, she is also egotistical and a money grabber. I remembered she asked my niece for a $60.00 payment for her clinical form. We realized that most health care professionals asks for $20-40. She also told me to make a new appointment with her again because she is running out of time. She was late in the first place. Sometime I wonder, are you really fit to be our family physician? Because really, most of us don’t trust you at all. We’re just obligated to keep coming to you because you hold our records.

Dr. Millstein is wonderful. She’s excellent at her job, is a good listener, and is very efficient.
