Very good doctor who takes his time to explain procedures to his patients. My wife was lucky enough to have him as her doctor thoughout both of her pregnancies, and one delivery and he was VERY GOOD. All these other negative comments by other people are skewed by their inaccurate perception of him, because of their ignorance, poor self-esteem,and lacking sense of humor. My wife and I constantly recommend him and will continue to use his services, as long as we can.

Mark was not very professional and gave off the wrong impression from the start. Regardless, I went forward with him. He is a condescending individual and shows little sympathy.

Mark Smilie is a very close minded individual. He was late for the appointment as is normal for this office.

Doctor Smillie was the second doctor I saw last week for heart burn. Thank goodness he was very thourgho and checked my heart. He sent me to Foothills hospital and had a stint put on my heart within 24 hours. Can not thank him enofe.

Doctor Mark Smillie has been my practitioner for several years now. I could not be happier with the care and attention that he gives me. We always have friendly and unrelated conversations. He truly gets two thumbs up from this patient.

Dr. Smillie & staff go out of their way to ensure you are looked after properly. Very knowledgeable also will not hesitate to refer you to specialists when unsure. Will also consult with specialist to ensure that no problem develop with medications etc.

Dr. Smillie has always been very helpful and caring to my family. he is very knowlegable and gives us all the time needed to answer all our questions. If he is unsure of anything he does not hesitate to speak to his fellow collegues to get the right course of treatment. Also his nurse, Jean,is the most wonderful person you could know and always making you feel as if your the only patient that Dr. Smillie has. they are very accomidating and are willing to go the extra mile for you!!!

I moved here from out of province, and I have a bad track record with docs, but Dr. Smillie changed my mind, I had surgery and now i Have to get tests done, and he is very good always calls me back and checks in to make sure that i m doing ok, In my opinion he is the best doc in Alberta.

Very personable and makes you feel right at home. Remembers patients and always asks about my kids (he was my OB doc too) even though he only delivered one. Is WONDERFUL with children. Gets the exams done quickly and lets you chat and feel comfortable asking anything. Never demeans. Excellent doctor. Highly recommended!
