I was scheduled to see Dr Arias at Broward North @ 1p, by 2:30p I asked how much longer and the staff told me there were two other people in front of me. I complained to the hospital manager and he said, “She always runs this late. I’m sorry, but there is nothing I can do”. So I got a referral to see Dr Lessen in her practice. I called in December and had to leave a msg. The holidays passed and I forgot, but no one called me back. I left another msg in January. Nada. I called in february and kept pressing numbers until I I found a human. The himan told me that I can not be scheduled to see dr Lesson until dr Arias gives her Ok. I was like WTF?!?!? All I want is to schedule a freakin appointment! Why does it have to be so hard! I got a referral to see another doctor not related to this practice. You should stay as far away as possible!!

We only have one life. Be careful when choosing this doctor. She has a lot of patients she can forget some stuff that are important. For example if patient needs radiation she can forget to give chemo at the same time, setting back the person months. This mistake should not happen. And if you do make a mistake like that, take on less patients and concentrate on the problems of your existing patients. If you choose this doctor keep track of her choices in your care and double check her work with what treatments other patients are getting to make sure she isn’t forgetting something.
