I love this lady, I met her and Gayle 5 years ago when I had my twins and found out one of my girls was born with Down Syndrome. She has been awesome, she's patient and happy and just all around an excellent Doctor.

Dr. Melanie took over my son’s care many years ago. My son has received nothing but the best care from her. She is easy to talk with and always able to reassure. She always knows not only my sons name, but that of his older brother, as well as mine. She never forgets the medical conditions my son has and is not afraid to refer him to the specialists he has needed. She is a true angel!

Dr. Lewis is wonderful. She is up to date on the newest information, she is very knowledgeable. She makes sure my son sees the specialists he needs. I wished she worked afternoons so I could get my son in with her when he is sick with a flu etc. When you phone into the clinic and the nurse agrees your child should be seen by a doctor we have always had to see someone else because she does not work afternoons. While we still receive excellent care, I miss her expertise on these visits.

I have know Dr. Lewis for many years, and believe that the key to her fantastic bedside manner is that she was a registered nurse before becoming a doctor. She truly loves what she does and is dedicated to providing the most knowledgeable care to children. My only complaint would be that she is very busy, and sometimes difficult to get an appt. with.

Our son was referred to Dr. Lewis at the Down Syndrome clinic at the Stollery’s …she is absolutely amazing and easy to talk to talk to. She has a wonderful bedside manner you can tell the compassion and love that she has for the children.

An absolutely AMAZING physician and person. We were referred to her a number of years ago with one of our daughters, and are truly thankful. She is intelligent, thoughtful, thorough, and instantly connects with your child. We do not look forward to the day when our daughter is taller than her and no longer needs the care of a pediatrician!!! This is the joke she makes with us, than once you are taller than her, you have to go to a regular physicain. All in all an outstanding doc, both for children and parents. Thanks for so much Dr. Lewis, and for my child looking forward to her next appt. with you all of the time.
