Extremely professional and knowledgeable, with a great sense of humour. He know's his stuff, relies on informed and best practice, minimizing harm and really does what's best for his patient's. Cannot speak more highly of him.

I have been seeing Dr. Stewart for 4 years after my last GI left. He has been wonderful and I am sorry he is leaving. I hope my next GI is as good as my last 2!

You won’t see a phone number for him because, can never speak to him without at least 3 people being between you and him. He has a god complex, and little to no bed side manor. I found that he made me feel that i was just a number to a dollar. His receptionist will phone and whether she speaks with you or not, to change an appt. she has done her part and there will be no follow up. I phoned in February, and weekly after that, because i was having problem with Remicade, and still have not heard from him yet (end of apr.) I hear from the grapevine that he is quitting his practice in Calgary and moving to Nova Scotia, but being i have not heard from him he has not told me yet. When i heard of his change of practice i put in for a referral to a GI closer to me. His reception said that he will not refer me until he gets another appt. with me. Another $ needed i guess. Lucky my pharmacist is willing to emergency prescribe my anti inflammatory drugs or i would be in the hospital.
