Unpleasant experience meeting Dr. Nandini Sathi. She does not listen, is indifferent to anyone’s pain and suffering. Makes it clear she thinks you are wasting her valuable time and made remarks indicating how stupid she thinks many patients are. A discussion with her can become heated, and my comment is that an experienced professional should be able to avoid escalating situations where she is angry and patient is angry . No kindness there for elderly or disabled, and hopefully she does not meet children. I do not like to comment on staff as they are not responsible for behaviour of physician

Does not give proper time and attention to patients, or take complaints seriously. Have had to follow up multiple times to get proper care. Communication with office also challenging (difficult to book appointments, arrange referrals, etc.)

Dr. Sathi is a wonderful doctor. I have been with her since she came to the practice. She has also looked after my son from infancy into his 30’s. She is a very kind and caring doctor!

I’ve been with Dr. Sathi since 1995. She is professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. She always has time for my questions, and I’ve always felt I had her full attention during appointments. She doesn’t brush off seemingly small concerns, is willing to investigate further or refer me when an issue is outside her purview. She has never made me feel stupid for asking anything. She’s volunteered at local Covid-19 clinics – first with testing then with administering vaccines. Looking forward to many more years with her as my GP.

I never thought I would be writing a poor review for Dr. Sathi – but she has recently let me down. I have come in on two separate occasions and gave her symptoms that I am experiencing – the last being the fact that I thought I might have a yeast infection. She did a test and gave me medication. She told me if I do not hear from her, then that means it was a yeast infection. I take the medication and wait two weeks, yet I am still experiencing the symptoms. I call their office to find out the test came back negative. There was no follow up to get me back in the office to find out why else I would be experiencing these symptoms. This is the second time this has happened to me and it is so disheartening to feel like your doctor does not care about your well being at all. I plan on switching my family doctor ASAP.

Very happy I am no longer a patient - left years ago. Besides the long waits, being rushed in and out and being condecended to, the front office staff are dreadful. Last straw came when I complained my thyroid meds were not working. She said, "This medication is not a weight loss pill, you know." ::blinking:: I mean, COME ON! I stormed out, never to return. My next GP retested me and sure enough, the dosage was wayyy too low. RUN - Don't walk, right by this Dr. Not worth the headache.

9 times out of 10 you're forced to wait a minimum of 20 minutes for a scheduled appointment, then another 20 minutes inside the waiting room. But God forbid you show up late to an appointment, they really let you have it (if they don't cancel it on you.) The Philipino nurses are all rude, and talk about patients behind their backs. The lab is so crammed and chaotic, another at least 15 minutes waiting there as well if you need any blood work done. As for the Doctor herself- I'm really getting fed up. I'm glad that after reading the other reviews about her I'm not the only one who feels rushed during appointments. I always detect a condescending tone to her voice when she speaks to me, and doesn't seem to genuinely care about me. Also, what's with this letter she sends out every year requesting an annual fee? As someone who see's her maybe 2 times a year, I don't feel she deserves any more money than she's already getting. I will be switching Doctors as soon as possible.

I will not be as truthful as I'd like to be, until I'm no longer her patient. I find Dr. Sathi to be unprofessional at times, and I agree with others - her tone can be condescending. I wait 15 min. on a good day, and 50+ min. for her on a bad day. All for the love of a 15 min. appointment, that sometimes ended up being rushed. As for the treatment that I've received, I don't feel particularly safe with Dr. Sathi, or as though she's "[got my back]". I've had one really bad experience with her, but have now learned to not take her words at face value - even if she's delivering the worst prognosis. She is underexperienced it seems, and she does not know how to deliver serious health news. Makes me doubt that her schooling actually touched upon human psychology. I've had other doctors who were better matches for me. It's just too bad that it doesn't seem easier to get another doctor in Toronto right now.

Ok so first off i have been with nandini for a long time and i remember when she was attentive to all of her patients. I have not, however, been treated very well by her lately. I went in asking for referrals and still have not heard back which leaves me to think that she never sent them in. I also started have issues sleeping and when i went to her about it (mind you it was the first time i had complained about sleep) she prescribed me the highest dosage(7.5 mg)of Zopiclone which after googling it is a very dangerous and addictive drug. I in turn did not take the drug. I no longer truly feel confident in her practices, nor will i return to be treated by her.

I have been Dr. Sathi's patient for twelve years and have always been very pleased with her. I find her warm and accessible and she has always been very knowledgeable. Now that her clinic is right on the subway line, her clinic is much easier to reach. I would definitely recommend her to someone looking for a good generalist.
