Over the last two months I have struggled with a foot pain. I have been through all possible tests my family doctor sent me to and everything was fine …except the fact that a had terrible pain in my foot ….I almost gave up when an idea came into my mind: to see a podiatrist. I looked on this web site and I found doctor Naftolin’s excellent reviews. I want to say that the reviews are excellent but the reality is above. From the first 10 minutes Dr. Naftolin found my problem: there was a fracture in my right foot. But not his excellent diagnostician skills made me write this review; he is a very nice person, very approachable and very, very funny. He has a very strong sense of humor that impressed me. I consider myself very lucky to have had the chance to meet such an outstanding doctor. Also I want to mention that the whole personnel are extremely nice: the receptionist is very, very nice; his assistant as well. I would recommend Dr. Naftolin to anybody.

I had 2 surgeries done by Dr. Neil Naftolin – bunions removal. This doctor is not just a knowledgeable doctor, but a wonderful person, as well. He shows his attention to any patient’s concern, never misses any word you ask him. His explanations of the problem (or details of surgery) are always detailed, he describes the whole picture: what will be done, what you can expect within or after the surgery. This surgery is quite expensive, but there are just a few doctors who can do minimal incision bunion surgery in Ontario. Neil is one of the most experienced doctors who performs it. I was allowed to watch the surgery – it is an art – the doctor’s work! I am in a process of rehabilitation after the surgery and so far have no complaints – just many “thanks” to that wonderful person – Dr. Neil Naftolin. …..Natalia

The first time I saw Dr. Natfolin I was 29 for a bunion. He was the 5th specialist I saw. I interviewed him with pages and pages of questions, since it was my 1st surgery. He answered all my questions with much detail and patience and also gave me 2 patients numbers to call (one good surgery, one not so good) – it was totally my decision. I kept asking him at the time, why are you not the same as an or Orthopedic doctor….Dr. Natflolin was all over the newspaper and had won an award for the best podiatrist in Canada at the time. Needless to say, I had surgery with him. Once my surgery was over, he said, “see you in 10 yrs”, I laughed – thought I would never see him again. 12 years later I was in his office again for the other bunion. I am so happy with my surgery. Within 6 wks of both surgeries I was normal, and even running. Here I again, at 51 and under his knive again for a hammer toe. I would never go anywhere else. He is the BEST doctor I have ever been too!!! God Bless Dr. Natfolin

Dr Naftolin performed minor surgery on my left foot and the results have been excellent. His confidence in the treatment plan, thorough consultation, accumulated experience with similar problems and seniority in the field were critical in choosing him as my podiatrist. Aside from noted great bedside manner, he also had a dexterous, light hand during the surgery (and delivering the anaesthetic). Being mobile soon after the procedure has been an added bonus. Happy with the outcome.

My 1st impression was disgusting. The office is untidy and dirty, that says a lot about the doctor. Plus you have to pay for parking. His jokes are not funny The orthodics he made were too hard and I couldn't wear them. I had to have them remade and they aren't doing a damn thing. What a waste of hard earned money.

I am not surprised about all the wonderful comments I have just read. From the moment I entered Dr. Naftolin's practice I was welcomed by his staff, especially Rita. I consulted Dr. Naftolin about a Hammer toe problem and sought advice about my bunions. He instilled immediate trust about his extensive knowledge and experience in assessing, diagnosing and discussing treatment options. His humour was like a breath of fresh air in a doctor's office. I walked out relieved, without pain and would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Naftolin

Just had my last appointment after very successful bunion surgery last December. I couldn't be happier with the result. Staff were kind, efficient and punctual. Best money I have ever spent. I was not going to have bunion surgery as I had heard it is very painful when performed by an orthopaedic surgeon. A friend who had both bunions successfully fixed 10 years ago told me about Dr. Naftolin. From the moment I met Dr. Naftolin, I knew I was in good hands. I highly recommend him.

The medical building charges an arm an a leg plus a foot for parking and it is not warranted. Office is old and not in great shape. Room was filthy. He mentioned that they put up drapes in the very same filthy place and operate to remove the bunion. The price was outrageous and at least for that the office should be clean. When I read further I am seeing a lot of differing opinions regarding minimal invasive surgery for bunions. Many of them feeling that it is not a permanent solution to the issue. Not impressed.
