1st visit - very thorough and seemed to genuinely care. Second visit - years later - he was rushed - assumed that the symptoms were caused by a specific issue even though two specialists indicated that he was wrong - he still continued to think it was that diagnosis. Did not do any follow-up - I had to phone and ask what the results were and if there was a follow-up. there wasn't

My father had a stroke in August and I found Dr Roberts to be very cold, uncaring and absolutly no followup given. My father had lost his periferal vision and all he did was take his license away without even telling him. NO compasion at all. NO human element in this doctor.

Several years ago my Mother had vision problems, I brought her to Dr. Roberts and he talked to herprivately without me. He informed me that hethought she wanted to be in a senior facility, and that he could not detect anything wrong withher physically. I asked him if she could havehad a stroke he replied no, I asked him if thesenior facility is what she said she wanted and he replied no that he just assumed this. I eventually had her admitted to the General downtown and low and behold on Cat Scan she indeed had had a minor stroke affecting her vision centre. Enough said about this doctor.

As it turned out, my husband and I were both referred to Dr. Roberts by our respective doctors for different conditions. We both were very pleased with the thoroughness of his examination and his attempts to address our health issues. His expertise and experience are the reason he is able to appear to almost intuitively diagnose problems. Body language is used by doctors to assess the congruity of what we say and what he sees. He does not prescribe medication without making sure that he knows what all else you may be taking or doing so that there are no incompatibilities. One's condition can change over time as a natural progression of some conditions requiring that one return to see the doctor for further consultation. This should not be taken as a weakness of the doctor but of the reality of neurological conditions. This doctor walks the talk and can be seen on his bicycle commuting between hospital, office, and home. Being active is a big part of getting and staying healthy.

I will be forever indebted to this brilliant doctor, who diagnosed me with a rare condition at my first appointment. I suppose given the positive comments made to me about Dr. Roberts, by other physicians, perhaps I shouldn’t have been surprised. He’s a lovely man, a gentleman, and certainly, not without a sense of humour. I am very grateful.

This man is clearly manic, and potentially fixated on a failed marriage. Claimed I was depressed and saw no hope of improvement. Refused further diagnostics. Second opinion and later MRI indicate that I had suffered an ischemic stroke. Sadly the man is about to burn out and needs a hiatus. Likely was good onetime

Dr Roberts reminds me a lot of the Absent Minded Professor – extremely smart, but in his own world. I’m currently seeing him for maintenance alone but I’d still go to him for anything else neuro related.

Run away, see anybody else. Ignored actual brain scans that shows trauma to the brain. Was unprofessional on so many levels. Re-traumatized me. Madness absolute madness. There is so much more. However the evidence is stacking up be previous reviews that I do not need to say anything else.
