Dr. Craighead and staff are the best ,him and his staff treat you like a person not like a dieases they talk you through any and all procedures. they gave me hope in doctors again. thanks to him and his staff they helped keep me positive and hopeful that i would survive cancer thank you again for giving me more time with my family you at the tom baker cancer clinic are the worlds best

Dr. Craighead and his staff are the best. Alberta (and some of us lucky ones from southern B.C.) are so lucky to have such a quailfied man to turn to. I truly do believe that Dr. Craighead and his staff saved my life. Dr. Craighead and his team explains everything…the good and the bad, nothing is left unturned. His job is to save lives and that is what he does. Yes I have sat and waited, but knew that he was busy with another patient, I just waited to take my turn and thanked my lucky stars that I had him on my team. Nothing but good about him. AAA+++

I am afraid that I must disagree with earlier assessments. I am sure that Dr. Craighead is a competent doctor – I have no reason to think otherwise – but I am finding him to be a poor communicator. He seems more interested in speaking to what is important to him (as a leader of a clinical trial) than he is in what I as a patient needs or wants to hear. I have caught him saying one thing to me and another thing to a nearby doctor, which was really discomfiting. Furthermore, I find him to be sexist, as if he thinks that women are generally not too smart. I have to see him on a regular basis and I spend a week dealing with the bad feeling that I get from it; meanwhile, every other resident or doctor I’ve seen has made me feel informed and as positive as possible.

Wow, can’t quite believe that last comment. I have been seeing this doctor for over 2 years and have never found him to be anything but helpful,caring, honest, knowledgeable and receptive to my( sometimes strong)opinions and concerns. He is a most kind gentleman and if this is sexist, bring it on.

I met with Dr Craighead this past week to discuss my cancer diagnosis a how to move forward with treatment.Dr Craighead was truthful, did not beat round the bush about anything, explained fully the side effects that could possibly occur and the percentage of the ability to kill the cancer from what he has seen with his experiences & intelligence. Moving forward I trust him totally to do whatever is humanly possible to rid my body of this nasty killer! I suggest to anyone doing the same to come with written questions & bring a friend or family member who can take notes during your consult, as you will not remember everything you have been told. Dr Craighead took my list and answered every question I had written down and with honesty. I have seen a number of Drs over the last 10 years and this man is #1
