My surgeon for 20 years. Has taken care of my sad and sorry back for all these years. Gave me a liveable life. So sad to talk to him today and learn he is retiring. Will be greatly missed by all his patients I am sure.

In 2004 I had a double disc replacement after 15 years of pain, time off work, being unable to engage in physical activity etc. I was back to work full time within six weeks and at six months I played 18 holes of golf without issue. I have never had time off work due to this issue since. However, I had an incident at work and hurt my back/hip and returned to Dr McCoombe. All investigations show after 9 years my discs are all in place and not the issue. He was also able to diagnose a compressed cluneal nerve. His expertise and years of dedication help to address an issue that may take others to diagnose a very long time if ever. Thank you Dr McCoombe.

This so called Doctor needs reminding that patients are people and not a slab of meat. Bedside manner is zilch. Do not recommend this Dr.
