Secretary does not pick up the phone! If you want to get through, need to show up to the office. Kinda stuck up attitude. Not at all what you want in a doctor.

I am very grateful to Dr. Weiler. It took two years of knee pain and weakness in my thighs to finally get a hip x ray that showed osteoarthtritis had taken my hip away and Dr. Weiler gave me a new one in December. I was walking within days and within a couple months was taking regular 3km walks at a brisk pace without a cane. He also has an engineering background which is a great perk in an orthopaedic surgeon since there is so much uncertainty about new technologies that are changing so quickly. I was impressed with his surgical team and his anaesthetist in particular who gave me a local spinal anaesthetic and it worked like magic. I was very nervous about that. Dr. Weiler is a skilled surgeon, is able to answer questions--sometimes even with humour--and made me feel like a person with a problem he could solve, as opposed to a number he could check off a list. I don't need to like my surgeon, but it is a very nice experience to be cut open by someone I trust AND like as a person as well. This was my first experience in a hospital since I was born and it couldn't have gone any better than it did. Thank you Dr. Weiler and your terrific team!

Had a great experience visiting Dr. Weiler at the Michael Garron Hospital’s fracture clinic in East York. He walked me through the severity level of my foot fracture, my road to recovery and answered my questions about exercise. Thanks for your help!

Absolutely terrible! I got bad knee pain many years. Then to wait hours for my appointment only to tell me he can't do anything for me.

Just had a right hip replacement and the entire process, surgery, and followup with Dr. Weiler were totally professional and caring. Would recommend to anyone.

In two years Dr. Peter Weiler had replaced my two hips and he was one of the best doctors I have ever met. He was very friendly all the time and treated me as a human and not a number. I appreciate his exceptional professionalism and support during my recovery, always with clear explanations and instructions. This included a useful advises and solutions during my physiotherapy, cardio problems- all very warm and human. His supporting staff was also very good. The patient handbook was helpful, with detailed information what to do before and after surgery.

Dr.. Weiler is an excellent doctor. I had my right knee replaced in 2011 and I was walking without a cane in 5 weeks. I replaced the left knee in 2012 and had no problems. Dr. Weiler treats you like a person and not a number. I would highly recommend him.

When they were donè I was told -10 to 12 years and I have had 21 good yeà rs. Dr. Weiler is à n à wesome surgèon.

Dr. Weiler is an outstanding surgeon and caregiver. My father has had a hip replacement done on each hip several years apart by Dr. Weiler, I have had one hip replacement done by him and a friend I recommended to Dr. Weiler had his hip replacement done 6 months ago. All surgeries, recovery and performance of the replacement hip have been absolutely perfect. I cannot praise him enough and you would be very fortunate to have him operate on you.

I saw him for a shoulder separation and he was very thorough, with excellent communication and people skills.
