Now here is a caring doctor for you. Is also Chief of Medicine at his hospital as well as having a private practice. Attends his patients at all hours of the day/night. Keeps himself up to date with frequent seminars/training his knowledge in formidable about the heart and its workings. A credit to the profession.

Dr. Bauer has been my mom’s cardiologist for about 4 years. He is an extremely knowledgable doctor. He always takes the time to answer your questions and never rushes you out of the office. He is a very quiet, soft spoken individual who puts you at ease when you are in a potentially scary situation. Dr. Bauer is a very gifted and dedicated physician. He is complemented by an awesome secretary who will always do her best to get you an appointment promptly. I feel very confident and relieved that my mom is in great hands!

I have to agree with the other two ratings. Dr. Bauer was prompt to address a situation created when another doctor erroneously inserted a pacemaker probe in my father’s left ventricle instead of the right ventricle.

He's a nice Doctor. He missed an ASD in me and I had a stroke. Unfortunately you can't go back in time. He did his best but he still missed it. Went for a second opinion to another doctor and she was worse, she missed it too! After stroke they revised tests and indeed ASD had always been there. I guess it could have been prevented.. But it wasn't.

Nice person. But he missed an ASD and made me have a stroke. For almost 2 years he could not find a hole in my heart which was found in 30 seconds in another country.

First met Dr. Bauer when my mom was transferred back to Humber (Church site) for recovery, and he comes in, after waiting all day, at 4:55 p.m. sits down introduces himself as Dr. Bauer, asks if we have any questions because he has a call at 5 p.m.!!! Really, first time for us and you are asking if we have questions and basically hurry up because he has a call!!! Very bad taste left in our mouths. Then follow up app't, it was like his mouth was sewn tight and he had to force himself to speak, and when he did, he asked what meds she was on. WHAT?! Changed cardiologists. We will meet the new one in March. If you get Bauer, change
