Diagnosed my mom w osteoporosis and told her to take calcium. 4 years later she’s having severe complications due to improper treatment. Thank god she has a better doctor now who actually knows how to treat this common condition!!!!

I found him to be rude and dismissive of my concerns. And he was coughing around me without wearing a mask, during the pandemic, which I thought was unprofessional and even reckless.

I am a new patient in downtown core and find him very helpful and caring he does rush me through sometimes but he does listen to my concerns and act on them his office is very clean and he has spacing between patients due to Covid

Dr. Herget is an incredible family physician. Being a new patient during COVID-19 he listened to my concerns and helped me get a diagnosis that I should have received 2 decades ago. Because Dr. Herget took the time to listen to my medical complaints and let me express myself my life has been completely and forever changed for the better. He is an incredibly compassionate physician who genuinely wants to see his patients get better. He isn't one to just shove a prescription in your face as a bandaid solution, but he works with you exploring any and all avenues to help you get better. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes when I've had an appointment. I've never felt like I'm being rushed out of the doctors office or my appointment. I've had no problems with his front desk staff, Kelly. He is knowledgeable about his job and takes the time to answer questions. Some say he is cold or even rude but I don't find that at all. My biggest regret is not finding Dr. Herget 10 years ago.

Dr Herget has taken care of me for some 30 years. I fully trust and respect his knowledge and advice over any other, including some of the specialists to whom he referred me on several occasions. Moreover, he accepts my decisions on which approach to pursue or decline, offering alternatives with his full support. What more might one wish and hope for? He will always have my gratitude for his dedication.

Dr. Herget has always taken the time to listen and investigate my health concerns. He’s so knowledgeable and thorough. I’ve never had a bad experience with him or his front desk gentleman Kelly. He’s been the best family doctor I’ve ever had.
