I had an umbilical hernia repair back in 2019. I have had several referrals sent to his office since due to having some type of (stitch) or something (SHARP) trying to push it's way threw the skin. I have seen 5 different doctors about it and nobody will take it out or even open it to see what it is because no one knows what it may or may not be attached to. I highly recommend finding a different doctor if you have a hernia that needs repair!

He performed emergency surgery following a post surgical misdiagnosis by another surgeon. He saved my life, I will always be grateful. I feel extremely fortunate he was my emergency surgeon. It was a very lucky day for me.

A professional/gentleman of the highest calibre , Cheerful, respectful, polite, dedicated and kind. Wants to get on with the job in an effective manner by putting you at ease from day one. Wealth of experience with less talk and more concentration on the job at hand. One can count lucky to get him as your surgeon! After my surgery in 2007 it still looks perfect. I had hernia done on my left on the 17th of December 2021 and for a moment thought he had forgot to do my surgery since there was no pain at all and never took pain medication. After 10 days I'm in great shape. Dr. Mulloy is a gifted surgeon and is blessed. Very caring and loving person. I'll be making a big mistake if I don't say something about Jessie ( Dr. Mulloy's assistant) who makes life easy for the surgeon. She's a real live wire with loads of experience and very kind hearted, polite and will go out of her way to answer all your questions. ( I have no words to thank her ) Unfortunately the nurses at SHC has a lot to learn from this team may be due to stress and long hours and reasons best known to them. Little they realize that the patients depend on them when they come to the hospital and should be kind and polite rather than being rude/stern and talking in an indiscreet manner. ( not at all helpful ) Michele was helpful after surgery. Medical student Ethan was very professional. The nurses who helped me to change initially were also helpful. Thank you Dr. Mulloy and Jessie once again!

04/20/2012. He was my surgeon for an emergency Cholecystectomy.He was very informative giving me full confidence and trust in him and his team. I was over whelmed that he would start a surgery so late at night 10:30 and finishing at 3:00 AM just to releive me of my pain & anxiety and put me on my way to a speedy recovery. I am so greatful that a Doctor that was unknown to me would take care of me like that. The surgery was the best birthday present I ever had in my 68 years. I am so thankful for Doctors like Dr. Rob Mulloy who in my case excelled + in his care and concern.

Dr. Mulloy operated on my hernia at the High River hospital on May 25, 2012. I was there from 9:00 to not quite noon. I only had to take one painkiller and was totally pain free from then on. The scar is almost unnoticable. I couldn’t have had a better surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone needing an operation.

I found Dr Mulloy excellent. He performed a Cholecystectomy which instead of being run of the mill proved to be a challenge but he managed to stay with the less invasive keyhole surgery which I appreciated. I found him caring, reassuring and very competant and always ready for a chuckle. All in all I would definitely recommend him and would go back to him if I needed more surgery.His office manager Jessie is a treat and went out of her way to be accomodate me.

Dr. Mulloy performed surgery on me, August 2002. I have only just found this site and am prompted to write on my experience. I will never forget what he did for me, this kind, caring, and highly competent surgeon. On Monday I was informed that I am in need of further surgery, unrelated to the problem that Dr. Mulloy repaired for me. If only it were possible, he would be the first person I would be running to. I will always be grateful to him.
