I can appreciate the bulk of the comments here but take them with a grain of salt. What some may consider as dismissive I would consider more of a practical doctor. I wouldn't want what some other doctors offer - rubber stamping prescriptions at patient requests. I would rather someone challenge my google doctoring with real medicine. I haven't found him wrong yet. The data entry is the new normal for the upcoming generation. I wouldn't be surprised if complaints on that are from older patients. His staff are quick to the point but I find them courteous so long as you are courteous. I think that's more reflective of a busy office with many doctors to a few receptionists. I've been seeing him for years.

Good listener, assesses the whole person and works with the patient to reach a mutual decision. Have no complaints in 10 years of dealing with him. Good contacts with specialists. Stays updated

Dr. Kahane is caring, knowledgable and has a terrific sense of humour. Never keeps you waiting for more than 5-10 minutes. My family has been pleased to be in his care for over 10 years and I would recommend him highly.
