What a wonderful Doctor. Takes his time explained everything very clearly, he made my husband feel at ease. Sent us on our way after shaking both our hands and reassuring us. This Doctor is an absolute gem!!!!

Dr. Tebbenham treated me in Emerg for suspected brain trauma. I can't say enough good things about him. Only wish I could have him along for the rest of the process.

Dr Tebbenham treated my daughter at PRHC ED and he was excellent (as were the nurses on staff). He had an amazing sense of humour and as very informative. Put my daughter at ease while she received a very painful procedure He was very clear on what she needed to do to recover.

Who knew PRHC had this gem? The epitome of what a physician should be: so compassionate, knowledgeable, empathetic and decisive. Totally coincident in his care. Grateful he is in my community.

I am writing this review on behalf of my 10 year old son, who is still raving compliments about Dr. Tebbenham.
We are so pleased to have met Dr. Tebbenham. He has pleasant bedside manners and made the whole experience for my son very easy. Funny, knowledgeable and excellent with kids.
We were at the ER for a suspected finger fracture and my son was feeling very nervous, but Dr. Tebbenham’s humorous jokes and his way with kids just made our visit worthwhile. Thank you very much for your patience and kindness.

Very very knowledgable excellent bed side manner. Very prompt. Wish he had a practice in town. I would be his first patient. He really cares.

Dr. Troy Tebbenham was my ER doctor for my visit last night to PRHC. He was timely in seeing me once I was in his unit. He shook my hand while introducing himself. Had great eye contact and was patient as I explained my symptoms, and was a good active listener. He took his time going through the assessments determine my diagnosis. What pleased me the most was the way he carefully explained what was the cause of my pain, through visuals using his hands. As well as taking the time to thoroughly asses my needs.
He was reasonable in the perscriptions to manage my pain, and in his note for time off work.
Overall he is a kind and knowledgeable doctor and it was a pleasure to be looked after by Dr. Tebbenham.

I met Dr. Tebbenham in the hospital after my 3rd visit with an awful pneumonia over a 3 week period. The 1st doctor said I had the flu, (I didn’t) – the second doctor finally did an X-ray and confirmed pneumonia and Dr. Tebbenham did more tests and got me on the right antibiotic. I am finally able to breathe without pain and wheezing and I can get out of bed again. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and I’m Googling him now to see if he has a family practice!! Amazing doctor.

I have been suffering from an as-yet undiagnosed condition that became acute six weeks ago. A visit to Peterborough’s emergency room last week was unproductive. The doctor I saw said very little to me and suggested only that I “keep taking codeine.” I returned yesterday after not having been able to eat solid food in nearly 48 hours, and Dr. Tebbenham was wonderful. He talked and listened, ran several tests, prescribed medication to treat my symptoms, and said he’d try to expedite my referral to a specialist. After being almost non-functional for the past six weeks, I feel like a human being today. I can’t express my relief at finding a doctor who cared that I was in agony and did something to help. I gave him a bear hug at the end of the visit. 🙂
