I went to this hospital's ER for what felt like a possible stroke. I was told I would need to wait until a bed was available. Two hours later, after watching several people taken back that arrived after me, I went to ask the lady at the desk how much longer might it be because my symptoms were getting worse. She told me this is not a first come first serve basis, which I understood, so I asked her how many more people are before me. She laughed in my face as she repeated herself. Being laughed at and having to hear about her "side piece" and vulgar language while we waited was plenty enough proof that this employee was not professional enough to execute the job she was given. I nearly collapsed on my way out as the frustration made my situation worse. We left, called an ambulance, and UAMS got me help almost immediately upon arriving to their ER. UAMS had a very professional and caring staff. I immediately felt like I was in good hands. If you are looking for people that care about you, don't go to Arkansas Heart Hospital's ER.

This is a very good hospital! Love the fact you can choose your meals and that each room was a private room.
