Forbes is the absolute BEST hospital! Excellent care, delicious food and top notch physicians! I've had to come to.Forbes for many health issues including open heart surgery! I will NOT go anywhere else! Reading all of these negative reviews make me sad because obviously those people are never satisfied! Ignore those and listen to me. Forbes is an excellent hospital!

This hospital is the worst! No bedside manners. Rude to patients guest and family! I called for a nurse to hurry to the room, and she turned her back. Lucky it wasn’t a major emergency. Brittney on the 6th floor (ICU) needs to be removed from nursing. No compassion or respect… if you come to this hospital ( Don’t get have Brittney as a nurse.

I recently was in Forbes Hospital, part of Allegheny Health Network, for major orthopedic surgery. The facility was super clean. You can’t beat the nurses for care and compassions. The food, jokes aside, was quite good and you get a very good choice. As to value, I’m delighted that they accept Medicare and my supplemental as complete payment; however, I’m still in favor of universal health care as all other developed countries have. The doctors kept a good eye on my conditions and offered encouragement. I have had five orthopedic and two general surgeries at this hospital and I really wouldn’t want to go to any other facility. The one procedure I had at UPMC was anything but pleasant and that’s why I always select Allegheny Health Network.

The staff was very friendly and helpful to my husband who had hernia surgery. They were there when we needed . The surgeon is a great doctor.

Overall terrible experience in the ER/trauma center, they apparently can’t read x-rays. Staff wasn’t very helpful or friendly.

I have two bad experiences in this hospital. The first was in the ER and when I was taken back to the room. I was vomiting for over a half- hour and has my call light on and no one answered. I could not get out of the bed to get help. I had to use my cell phone to call the operator to send a doctor and a nurse in. I also had to listen to the doctors and nurses talk about how the full moon was bringing all the crazy patients out. Never go into the ER by yourself because
