Hopital St Jerome’s emergency horrific. Will not help with pain medication and leave you in the hallway and for 3 hours in agony. Never again. All night and this morning Again refused to give me essential meds for psin

Made a serious complaint 2 years ago the CEO contacted me and said they’d address and, now exactly 2 years later is still an issue. Reception staff refuse to speak English, reception staff hang up on callers calling in and pressing the extension to get English speaking receptionists. Receptionists will not take any accountability, do not give their name when answering the phone, are extremely rude, condescending, racist and will not transfer you or assist you in any way if you are anglophone. This is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND NEGLIGENT! This is also a huge Human Rights issue as Everyone in Canada deserves the right to health care!! I will be contacting all avenues necessary for this to rectified for others as, this is not right and, as the CEO has done nothing, they blatantly don’t care like their reception staff.

Lors d’une urgence concernant un membre de la famille, on nous a mis dans une salle d’attente. La salubrité de l’hôpital était en piètre état, les fontaines distributeur pour l’eau avait de la moisissure visible sur le bec. Nous attendions près de la salle d’urgence et un livreur de pizza est entré dans la salle ”décontaminé”. Les stationnements payants sont très chère et l’attente pour les urgences est pitoyable. Les médecins ont également manquer de tact pour nous annoncer le pire. J’espère jamais avoir à y retourner.

The filthiest hospital I have ever been in, even the week-end cleaner could not believe how diry things were. As for the nursing staff some of the most ill equiped people acting as professionals. why is it that noone in this hospital thinks it important to introduce themselves? Not the doctors not the nurses not the prepose the only person who did was the physio therapist. the third floor was put in quarantine. My 94 year old mother is on that floor and not one person not one has told anyone anything except that noone on that floor is allowed visitors.
