In November 2017, its services were transitioned to the newly constructed, state-of-the-art John R. Oishei Children's Hospital. Located on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, John R. Oishei Children's Hospital is a 185-bed facility dedicated exclusively to the care of children and adolescents. It is a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center and a major teaching hospital affiliated with the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, offering comprehensive pediatric medical, surgical, and critical care services, with a strong emphasis on family-centered care and advanced research.
