📋Overview
Oculosympathetic palsy is a legacy term commonly used to describe Horner syndrome, a neurological condition caused by disruption of the sympathetic nerves supplying the eye and surrounding facial structures. The modern preferred term is Horner syndrome. It is characterized by a classic triad of ptosis (drooping eyelid), miosis (constricted pupil), and anhidrosis (reduced sweating) on the affected side of the face.
