My only complaint was how late my appointment was. I understand that patients often run overtime, as I myself did. However, I was kept in the loop, and admittedly things are different in this post-Covid society. That being said, I found the staff - reception, anesthetist, doctor - all just great. They listened to my concerns, and explained patiently how they would proceed. Unfortunately I will have to have a follow-up CT scan, but the clinic arranged for my blood tests and booked the colonography for me. Happy to recommend them.

I had a colonoscopy today and was so impressed by the professionalism of Holly Endoscopy. From the front deck receptionist's to the nurses to the Dr. Everyone took time to ensure I was cared for with kindness and dignity, the procedure nurse was friendly and upbeat which really helped ease my nervousness, the anesthesiologist was very gentle and kind and the recovery nurse was attentive waking me up in a gentle way. I would highly recommend Holly Endoscopy for anyone looking to have a colonoscopy.

I was really scared and emotional and felt so attended to and taken care of. Everyone was fantastic - communicative, transparent and kind. Was really glad to see COVID safety protocols still in place - hope this continues! Deep appreciation for everyone there!

Bossy unprofessional secretary. Non-essential travel rules prevented my attending from out of town but the secretary scolded me for something out of my control. I would have loved to have gone, but am restructed by the law. A quick look at my file and my address 3 hours away and my last cancellation during the last lockdown should have adverted the clinic to the issue. It is clearly a one shot shop with no ongoing client relationships.

I have had 2 experiences at this clinic and both times I was extremely disappointed. Each time I was left with more questions, no answers, and there was a lot of unprofessional behavior from Dr. Ian Plener specially on my second visit. It seems that this clinic tries to book as many people as they can handle and it surely shows by the poor attention that is given to their patients. On my first visit, I was told I would have a visit with the Gastroenterologists which never happened. Dr. Ian Plener showed up for my Colonoscopy/Endoscopy 2 minutes before the procedure, and dismissed all the problems to one thing he read in my summary chart even though not all of the symptoms matched his quickly dismissive diagnosis. After that, the procedure was extremely short and I am not even sure it was done properly as he informed me on the second meeting he didn’t get to everything. Once I was out he just wanted me to get out of there and dismissed my concern for all the other symptoms I was having, but finally after I pushed and pushed that I was having serious issues he provided medication. What bothers me the most is that he never asked for the whole picture or when everything started so he could be more informed when making a diagnosis. After my follow up appointment which I was having 3 weeks later my first one, I am still having the same symptoms. He showed up to our meeting 17 minutes late, and began to talk to me as he is taking of his winter coat and turning on his computer barely listening to me. I am not sure if it is his inexperience as a doctor or just simply he doesn’t care but he dismissed all my symptoms again and just tried to get me out of there as quickly as possible even though he was the one who came in late. I tried to be calm with him even though I am having some serious health issues and he treated this meeting as if it was a joke and just one in 100 he had to do that day. Extremely unprofessional if I had a choice I would have never went to this clinic for such a serious procedure.
