I am very pleased with both the staff and especially Dr. Leavitt. I got all my questions answered by the doctor himself. Simple and straightforward. I was particularly impressed by the patience Dr. Leavitt showed while dealing with the difficulties Alberta health system is having at the present. Dr. Leavitt was very amicable, greeting me with a “Hi, I’m Dr Leavitt, nice to meet you.” My doctor ordered X-rays, but Dr Leavitt said they did not show the angle he wanted to see. No problem. They had their own X-ray machine and could do it right away. His assistant came to get me within a few minutes. She took the multiple needed X-rays. It was so simple. Moments later I was back in the patient room and Dr Leavitt came in a minute later. He always knocked first before entering. He showed me the X-rays on his computer screen and where the problem area was located. He then explained the procedure he would need to do. He let me know his schedule was currently a year wait for surgery, but it’s longer for some other types. He gave me options. I had researched Dr Leavitt prior to having my regular doctor schedule an appointment and I am pleased I chose Dr Leavitt. I will be returning. His staff were all pleasant and friendly too. They all seemed very knowledgeable and competent at their jobs. That is important. I’ll be returning in the future for the surgical procedure which is pretty minor. At no time did I feel rushed.
