I really appreciate this clinic and the staff and their dedication to their patients. In the midst of this current crisis, it was so comforting to be greeted by such a lovely receptionist who continually cleaned every surface of the waiting room, and made me feel very comfortable; she was very polite and friendly and provided a really comforting atmosphere. Dr. Leavitt was very knowledgeable and it’s great feeling like you’re a person and it isn’t all about time and money and rushing through your appointment. His staff are so lovely and really make you feel appreciated. His receptionist gave me options in regard to paying (it cost more than I was anticipating after agreeing that orthotics were the best course of action). The wait time was almost a month to have my consultation, but I think it’s because he is the only Podiatrist in Cochrane. Five stars and highly recommend!

Dr Leavitt is VERY good at what he does. I feel so dreadfully sorry for him and his staff when he attends the Cochrane surgery. They are grossly over worked for the population explosion we’ve had out here. Part time hours is bad enough but keeping the appointment times SO short only makes matters worse!
Thankfully our treatments are quick and hopefully will be temporary. Others with complex issues, need more time.
A town this size NEEDS a full time foot clinic/Doctor

Great location with ample parking for those who work downtown Calgary. Dr. Leavitt was helpful and fixed my foot ( and associated lower back pain) problems efficiently and explained them in layman’s terms. The foot Institute is one of the least expensive of any foot specialist in Calgary (my wife checked) and has several locations which my family finds convenient. My only suggestion is to update the magazines in your clinic.

Had surgery with Dr Leavitt 4 months ago now and I am very happy I elected to pay privately for my surgery instead of waiting on the horrendous Alberta health care list. My experience was fantastic and Dr Leavitt was very involved in my recovery. He even called me on the weekend after my surgery to check on me. His staff also called me and also the surgery center -A+ customer service. I have healed up well and am glad to have my life back! I would recommend him to anyone looking for surgery on their feet!
