Dr. Leavitt took the time to do a comprehensive physical exam of my injured ankle. He also carefully reviewed my x-rays and explained in detail how my ankle was injured. He has offered to follow up with me as I increase my activity level. And he did all this while engaging me in conversation that lacked the rash or slight condescension often present with a physician. He has multiple offices, so you may have to see him at another clinic if you have regular appointments like I did for a while.

I’m very surprised at all these glowing reviews as my experience has been “okay”. Biggest annoyance is that I have seen him at least 6 times and he never recalls what is wrong with my foot and I have to remind him. As a fellow professional I would expect the courtesy of him at least reading my notes rather than asking me what is wrong with it. The reception staff are unprofessional – usually talking to each other over you or trying to work out the computer. Getting a 5 minute follow up appointment has taken up to a month which seems a bit odd bearing in mind the length of the appointment. Has recommended very pricey treatments, none of which have worked so I am seeking a second opinion. Best quality is his friendliness and informality.
