Dr. Fowke has delivered my two children and the delivery was amazing! She took great care of me all through my pregnancy and was always available for questions in and outside of clinic hours. She is the ONLY doctor to see for Prenatal care ( or anything else)

Dr. Fowke has been my Doctor for over 10 years. She's a good listener and doesn't hesitate to recommend a specalist when needed. A Doctor who's always "there" for you.

Definately felt more like a number than a patient. It seems like her waiting room is always full and it's almost like she's trying to see as many patients as she can so she doesn't always have a lot of time. At times I've also felt like she isn't taking my concerns seriously. Spends more time typing and translating my story into the computer rather than actually carrying on a human conversation and looking at me when I'm talking. I wouldn't recommend her to my family or friends.

I have read some of the comments here about Dr. Fowke behaving as though you are just a 'number'. It might enlighten some to realize that she is practicing in Banff, where she likely sees most patients once or twice only. I saw her for my 2nd pregnancy. She remembered my history, and was nothing but respectful. I wanted a VBAC as my first delivery was a C-section, and she was unbelievably helpful and positive about my plan and needs. I moved to Kelowna before my son was born, so she didn't deliver him, but she prepped me well (I had a successful VBAC). Thanks Dr. Fowke!!!!!!

Dr Fowke is excellent. I have been seeing her for around 8 years now, through 2 higher risk pregnancies and 1 delivery (I had to go to Calgary for one). She was amazing through all of this and I always feel like I am in excellent hands. With my delivery she was even able to turn my baby, which I don’t think many Drs know how to do. I was given her personal phone numbers and felt like I could call or make an appt with any questions She is caring and seems up to date with her field. My son also has eczema and she has been helpful with that. I like that Dr Fowke is quite straightforward. It’s a Dr office and is quite busy as Banff is a tourist town and also has a lot of workers passing through on work visas – however I never feel like just a number (as some have written) or rushed out the door. On the contrary, I feel like wait times are pretty minimal and I can usually get an appt the next day if I need to.

I have been seeing Dr Fowke since 2003 & have had nothing but helpful & supportive care & advice. She is a straight forward doctor & is very knowledgeable. I have had 3 children & she has delivered all of them. She remembered after the first child how I liked to give birth & was very supportive. I have not lived in Banff, but over an hour away & drive to see her for all medical services. I trust her diagnoses & value the care I & my kids receive. If you want the best care, I would recommend Dr Fowke. I will continue to have her as my families GP.

Excellent experience with this doctor this morning. The Clinic was busy and my appointment was quick and to the point but she clearly knew her stuff and explained my issue well. Everyone was helpful and involved in taking care of me from the front desk staff, the nurse- even the manager poked her head in to assist. I felt well cared for. I would see again

Dr. Fowke can provide an excellent and beautiful delivery if everything is normal and goes well, and the most dangerous and unsafe delivery if things don’t go well, and refuses to keep current in her practice. Most other physicians in the Bow Valley refuse to work with her any more for this reason. If you value your life and your baby’s life, I would recommend choosing another practitioner.
