Absolutely WONDERFUL. Lateness reflects teaching of medical students and residents - which you'd likely get at any teaching hospital. Thoughtful and empathetic. Even if I'm having paranoid thoughts, she will order tests to ease my mind. I would want my entire family to see her!

I went to Dr Smith after suffering from acne for YEARS and funding nothing that helped. I’d even gone to other doctors, and they prescribed me things that just didn’t work.
Dr Smith was the first doctor to talk to me about Epirus, which was the only thing that actually worked and ended up clearing up my acne for good.
She’s also incredibly kind and funny, and just an all around lovely person

I was referred by my GP to Dr. Linda Smith at Nakatsui DermaSurgery 2 years ago for my ongoing acne problems. I have had this issue for the last 15 years and found that she was the only doctor who genuinely listened to my concerns & was open to trying other options I have never used before. She also has an excellent bedside manner – almost like chatting with a friend! She never rushes you with your appointments and allows plenty of time for questions. As I have now completed my treatment I no longer have to see her, but wish she could be my full time GP! I highly recommend her and the staff at Groot Derma Surgery – they are the best at what they do!

I am so lucky to have found Dr. Smith. She welcomed me into her practice when I was left without a doctor after mine was convicted with several counts of child luring. Barf.
She always listens to everything I have to say, and allows me to make decisions and have agency within my own healthcare.
If you get an appointment early in the day, you’ll be in and out quickly. But she has lots of high needs patients amd can sometimes run behind. No biggie.
The staff at DMC, however, are absolutely useless. Phone calls never get answered, they pick up and put you on hold without saying anything, and they can be straight up rude. So, book appointments online. For your own sake.
For reference, I’m a 28 y/o mother of 2 with no chronic health issues.

Like many, I had positive interactions with Dr Smith the first many visits with her (over 2-3 years). But then I came down with an unknown infection and she prescribed me the wrong antibiotics after knowing that I don’t like to take pills or antibiotics in general. So after my infection became worse, I was finally put on some broad spectrum stuff that did help. When I asked her about why she prescribed me the first ones she got very defensive, and rude. I also innocently mentioned naturopathy and she Became angry and said “naturopathy is not backed by science” and implied that I was stupid. I dumped her as my doctor for her rude attitude and failure to listen and be compassionate.

Dr. Smith is patient, kind, caring and always takes the time to listen to you. She will send you to specialist without question and is a great Dr and I am happy to have found her and will follow her wherever she may go.
