I can't say she is the best doctor but she did help me when I was in for Sciatic and hip replacement. I was also diagnosed with type 2 diabeties 3 to 4 years ago. Almost 2 months after covid hit, I went to go see her for a scheduled appointment. I ended up with a nutritionalist telling me what I should and should not eat to keep staying healthy and to keep my blood sugar lower than 7.0. At this time of visit, my blood sugar was right around 8.6, I believe. I cracked down upon myself to eat as healthy as I possibly could and I stopped taking the prescrition pills that were given to me by the pharmacist because I had run out. From the middle of May, last year of 2020 till now, I have not taken another pill, lost 20 lbs, and I test my blood sugar level every second day and it has been right around 7.0 to 7.5 and staying steady. Only once it has gone up around 8.0 but that is when I was out camping fall of 2020 and I drank a bottle of wine. Back in May of 2020 Dr. Linda smith tried calling me several times but every time I tried answering, the call would drop and the number was unlisted. I don't know what the issue was but I would call the doctors office to confirm that she had called or will be calling and this would happen. I was taking the prescription pills for approximately 3 years. Now it has been 8 months without taking 1 pill. I actually feel better and living the life I want but eating better and healthier as well.

Linda is the most amazing physician I have ever had. I moved to Vancouver 3 years ago, and even though my doctor here is fantastic, there isn’t a day that goes by that I didn’t wish that I had a Dr. Linda Smith here. Remarkable woman, fantastic “bedside manner”, great sense of humor, extremely knowledgeable and helpful, all around grade A+++++!

She is a very good MD and person! But, between my husband and I, we’ve recently had appointments booked and at the last minute on 3 separate occasions have been called by her staff and our appointments are re-booked for weeks ahead, again. She is harder to see since taking a promo. Her advancement in the Faculty of Medicine/Dentistry is having an adverse effect on her practice – it is being noticed by her patients.

You spend more time with the students than with her. She was a very good doctor but now she is over worked and doesn’t take time with her patients.

She is a great doctor as she is friendly, concerned, asks what is new/changed since she last seen me, she cares, but it is hard to get an appointment and won’t accept new patients like my husband. You have to be willing to see a student doctor as well, but I guess they all have to learn!
