I was cliff jumping out in jasper broke my pelves this guy put me back togther . always help kept me update on every thing happening i moved out of the area but this man did a great job and i have my life to thank him R. Cooper

Dr. Menon did the surgery and follow up for a broken ankle. He answered all of my questions and helped me relax before the surgery, and has been an encouraging force through my recovery. Excellent bedside manner. He is so kind and encouraging. I like the approach he takes to healing and how he had me moving my ankle at the two week point - I am well ahead of schedule for my recovery and I credit him for it!

Had quite a bad break in my foot as well as torn ligaments in July 2017, saw Dr. Menon 10 days after and he did surgery to repair it. All my questions were answered and he always explained his reasoning for anything treatment wise. Good bedside manner. Back doing action sports by January this year. I would recommend him to everyone.

I suffered a complete Achilles tendon rupture in November 2017. Dr Menon performed surgery 3 days after the injury and to date (3.5 months later) I am completely satisfied with the recovery and the results. Dr Menon has been great to deal with along the road to recovery offering professional insight and opinions to all questions and concerns. I’m almost fully active and slightly ahead of schedule and I must attribute a great deal of that to Dr Menon’s surgery and rehab protocol. I struggled with the decision to get surgery or not after the injury and am thankful for my decision. Thanks Dr Menon.

Broke my ankle and Dr Menon was great! he explained everything that was happening in a calm and useful manner, he always made me feel safe and welcome during follow-up visits!

My ACL/Tibial spine avulsion fracture should have been a straight forward procedure with a 100% recovery. Dr. Menon was new at the time with no supervision. The surgery was done incorrectly,and repeated calls from both my physio team and GP who were alarmed at a the early recovery period, were ignored. Although presenting a good bedside personality, Dr. Menon ignored all the warning signs that the surgery was unsuccessful and was not interested in looking into it further. The result to me, has been permanent disability, 8 major corrective surgeries, $300,000 in medical expenses. This was all preventable if the mistakes were picked up and corrected early – or never made in the first place. I was not presented with surgical options or advised that Dr. Menon had never performed this type of surgery before. I can only hope he has learned from the mistakes made on me and no one else has to suffer needlessly.

I had a broken wrist. Dr. Menon operated and put a plate and srews in my wrist. I then had to go through two tendon replacment operations because the screws were sticking out too far and ripped my tendon to my thumb. And the screws werent removed until the second the third operation. It was very very frusterating, especialy having two small children to take care of with one hand for over five months. Besides all that. I thought he had a nice bedside manner. Also he didnt mind perscribing real painkillers that work.

I saw Dr. Menon for my broken foot while I was pregnant and he was fantastic! Super personable with excellent bedside manner. I felt completely cared for and he answered all of my questions and put my concerns at ease. I highly recommend him and feel very lucky I was put under his care. You can tell he truly cares for his patients. Thank you!

I am very thankful for Dr M Menon – I had a patella (#) & tendon repair – he did an awesome job .
He has exceptional bedside manner and I am so thankful to have had him for my Surgeon! His staff were also so kind and supportive!
I would whole heartedly recommend him.

We had a very unpleasant experience with this doctor, this is an understatement at the highest level. He would not admit to his own limited skills and insisted on leaving a relative as a cripple and insisted nothing could be done. We ended up going to the United States and our relative has made a full recovery and is able to walk again.
We DO NOT RECOMMEND this orthopedic surgeon!!!! He most certainly should not be in a top position at the University of Alberta Hospital!
