Dr. Menon was very informative and was able to communicate the severity of my injuries in a manor I was able to understand. Being a non medical person he took his time and was able to inform me as to what my options and possible outcomes would be. Dr. Menon was one of the most proffesional individuals I have had the pleasure of meeting. I feel so greatful he has successfully completed my surgery and look forward to a full recovery from my pelvis repair.

Dr. Menon did a fantastic job repairing my arm. Prior to Surgery, he explained everything that he was going to do, and went in and fixed it. It was a re-ruptured distal bicep tendon. He had to go in and find the tendon which was healing to a vein, repaired the bone that previously broke from a failed (inferior, IMO) first attempt from another surgeon, and secured the tendon via endobutton. 3 hour procedure. He even stuck around after the surgery while I was waking and we chatted a bit on what he did. The next day he came by my room to see how I was doing and explained further as to what the surgery entailed. 2 weeks later, we looked at my arm with fresh x-rays, and it looked great! Awesome, very up to date with the modern techniques. A pleasure to have him finally fix my arm. I am on the road to full recovery, thanks to Dr. Menon!

Dr. Menon, is a kind caring surgeon and did everything possible to help our son, who is wheelchair bound. However because of our son’s disabilities we are not able to wait 5 to six hours to see Dr. Menon for a scheduled appointment. We arrived on time for our appointment but four hours later we were still not seen. The waiting time is not excusable, a doctor can only see so many patients in one day, his staff should know that.

Once again confusing!I showed up for a 1:00 pm appt.I was their around 11:30 am.Iwas then sent for xrays and returned shortly after noon 12:00 noon.I waited in the front area and a fellow called my name.He was leading me to the room and before we got there he said do i want to go back to waiting area or to the room as Dr.Menon had left again.Around 12:50 PM a female entered my room and said i had to go back for more x-rays! I did this and upon returning had to wait around 20 minutes and then more time for Dr.Menon.After time with him he was’nt prepared and i had told him i had some x-rays done at Misercordia witch he had to leave for awhile and check them out.So my total time at the new Edmonton Clinic was well over 2 hours.RIDICOULOUS.THX

Haven’t been happier with the service revived from a doctor and he makes sure you understand everything before and after surgery. Super nice and always happy to see a patient. As a patient I have nothing bad to say about his preformace or outcomes. Had an amazing experience and my surgery went well thanks to Dr.Menon

I was vacationing our daughter in stony plain. On the day to fly home I had an accident and ended up with an open compound fracture. Dr. Menon was the Dr on duty. The next day Dr. Menon came to my hospital room and explained that since the fracture was open I had to be hooked up to antibiotics for 48 hours. He explained the break. Said he would find an orthopedic surgeon in my home town in ontario to follow up. Do'so and don't, timeline, visited every day and I was in there for 5 days! Nothing but the utmost respect for this Dr and the University of Alberta Hospital and the entire nursing staff.

Two surgeries, within two weeks, for a broken wrist. Dr. Menon gave understandable explanation, personable, answered my questions, showed me my x-rays, and respected my massage/wholistic knowledge.

I broke my foot in late September and saw this doctor who was in an obvious rush to leave for the day. His advice, on the way out the door, was to wear a stiff-soled shoe. Here we are, one month later, after I've been walking on a broken foot. I was told, when I saw him in his office, that they would call me to make a follow-up appointment. Like a fool, I believed him. I never received a call. When I attempted to follow up with the staff at his office, I spoke with a very rude receptionist who continually tried to talk over me while I was speaking in addition to berating me for not calling them sooner. All this in a four-minute conversation. My advice is to never go near this place. Now that I saw this chucklehead, I am stuck here and unable to receive a referral to another specialist. I can only hope this improves lest I lose my foot due to complications of neglect on their part.
