I have seen Dr. Chow twice and he fixed an Aneurysm with coils and a stint. Now i was unable to go for my next visit due to covid and he does know i have a third one he is watching and now i have a lot of headaches again so just booked another appointment with him. See you soon

Dr. Chow is life saver. He is the best brain surgeon we got. He is very compassionate but blunt. He would take time to explain the short term and long term effects of the illness. During my surgery, I feel safe and secure with his team in that room. He and his team we’re the kindest and nicest medical people. They will assure you that everything will be ok. Right after my surgery and I was in the recovery, Dr. Chow was already there beside me making sure that I am taken cared of and he explains the outcome of the surgery. Dr. Chow has a big heart, from my experience he takes care of his patients to the best of his ability. Again, thank you Dr.Chow for saving my life! God bless you and your family!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏♥️

Same here , like previous comments. Dr. Chow ignored me on the spot, totally dismissed me, he don't want to send me for any scans because I have very weird symptoms. Do not recommend Dr. Michael Chow for anyone.

Dr. Chow explained everything I needed to know before my brain surgery. I felt very comfortable and was not worried at all before the surgery. To me, someone with high anxiety, this was extremely important that I felt very safe with him performing my surgery. Excellent doctor!!

I met with Dr. Chow today I was referred to him For a condition that I have been diagnosed with. ACM type 1. He completely dismissed me told me none of my symptoms are related to my condition. Refused to monitor me over the next while, or do any further testing. I absolutely will not be going back that experience was the worst experience I’ve ever had with any doctor. He was irritated he even had to meet with me. Unreal.

I was diagnosed with a cavernous malformation in my temporal lobe and got flown into U of A and Dr.Chow was my attending physician. Im from out of province and Dr.Chow and his team have been excellent and very helpful when it comes to my situation. My 2nd consultation which was originally scheduled for 15 minutes, went on for 45 minutes because Dr.Chow wanted me to feel fully informed. As I write this, Dr Chow’s team has scheduled me in 2 months early for a craniotomy since they had a cancelation and they knew I was from out of province.

Dr. Chow and his surgical team recently performed a procedure to implant a stent in my cerebral artery. He and the other team members were extremely professional, personable and knowledgeable. The procedure was a success from start to finish. My family and I are so grateful for all the great care and support we received from his team and the staff in the 4A4 ICU in The University of Alberta Hospital.

I can not thank Dr. Chow and his team enough. I was suffering with an agonizing L5 herniated disc for months. Living in chronic pain was unbearable. I was referred to Dr. Chow. He was knowledgable, efficient, and personable. My initial surgery date (which ended up being 2 months earlier than his estimated date) was cancelled on the day of surgery and I was quickly rebooked for a week later. Right before surgery, Dr. Chow spoke with me and apologized for the cancellation, but reassured me that I would not be cancelled today. The surgery went off without a hitch…very successful. I am so grateful to Dr. Chow for dramatically improving my quality of life. I am on an efficient road to recovery and look forward to my follow-up visit in a few weeks. I feel truly blessed to have been placed under Dr. Chow’s care.
