Dr azer is the worst doctor! I am unsure of how he is still practicing. I had used him in my third pregnancy so I didn't have to travel to Edmonton and it was quite the mistake. I ended up firing him right before my baby was due. He has awful bedside manner and is completely unknowledgeable.

Came for an IUD insertion. Worst pain in my life. He was not understanding at all about my pain and said “if you keep flinching we won’t be able to do this.” then afterward asked if i had any questions then just left the room and i was lying on the bed covered in sweat and in shock from the pain. Fast forward 6 months later my IUD comes out of place. I go for a removal and then he asks If i want another IUD and I said yes but I need some sort of numbing. but he refused. then proceeded to offer me hormonal birth controls which I told numerous times I did not and that was why i was getting a copper IUD. Ladies dont get traumatized like I did and go to the womens health options clinic instead to get your IUD inserted. MUCH BETTER. Dr. Azer is just unprofessional and does not care at all.

Great bed-side manner, easy to communicate with, very to the point. Particular and is careful which is so appreciated. So glad to have been referred to this wonderful doctor!

Women, please look for a different OBGYN.
I went to see Dr. Azer for endometriosis pain. He immediately suggested surgery and didn’t want to discuss other options. He is very unprofessional and insensitive in the way he speaks to patients. Also, the examination room I was brought to was messy and dirty, almost like it was being used for storage.

I had a horrible experience with Dr Azer. I came to have an IUD removed after a family doctor was unable to and an ultrasound should it was not in the correct spot. Instead of introducing himself the first thing he asked me was if I was going to have another kid and that he could just tie my tubes. I was so caught off guard and he was not able to retrieve the IUD. He asked me to come back for another appointment at another clinic where they would use a camera and after a painful invasive exam he said couldn’t find it and asked me if it was really there….As he walked out the door he casually said it could be in my abdomen which is very serious and that I would need surgery.
He sent me for yet another ultrasound where the radiologist came in and spoke to me and said he had no idea why he wasn’t able to find it, as it hadn’t changed positions from previous ultrasounds.
I was so frustrated and sick of his runaround that I asked for a referral to another gyn. She was amazing, explained to me what was going on, and got it out on her first try in under 10 second, meaning I didn’t need surgery. I know you can’t control who you get referred to, but I’m glad I advocated for myself to find a doctor who could help me.
