I had an extremely hard first pregnancy with hypernemesis. He was extremely caring and helpful. I was scared and hospitalized through out my entire pregnancy. He would come in to see me all the time. Once my son was born he went over and beyond with post pregnancy problems. He gave us his pager/phone/cell numbers in case we had any scares or questions. He went over and above his duties. And I would reccomend him to all!!!

Dr. Azer has delivered both of my children with great success both times! He treated me initially with a miscarriage with great compassion. He was patient, caring and concerned. When I was able to get pregnant again he sent me for recurring tests to ease my mind about the pregnancy. He spent as much time with me each visit as I needed. During my first delivery (32 hours) he was extremely patient and helped me to deliver a 9lb 4 oz baby without even tearing! I found him to be an amazing doctor and continue to see him for me yearly check-ups! Thank-you Dr. Azer!

Dr. Azer is normally running behind schedule, however a lot of the times it’s because he has something come up that needs his immediate attention. If I go into labour during the day I hope he does say “Ohh…Can you hold off until after clinic hours?” I seen him with my first child and now again with my second. I have found him to be very helpful, and knowledgeable, however I have noticed that sometimes he doesn’t seem to remember who I am, but other times, he’s spot on and remembers the delivery of my first. I had a very small tear with my first and the suction cup had to be used, this would be why I tore. I found him very calm and supportive during my hard labour. As for his nursing staff…depends on who you get. Patricia, one of the nurses at the clinic is extremely nice and helpful, where some of the others seem like they don’t like their jobs.

I happen to disagree with the negative comments regarding Dr. Azur. I saw Dr. Azur in consult to discuss surgery for the removal of uterine polyps. I found him to be very straightforward, knowledgable and kind. The staff at the clinic were also quite pleasant.

I saw Dr. Azer regarding painful intercourse. I’d seen 5 doctors before him, and was excited to finally be seeing an OBGYN. He seemed like he was in a hurry the entire time. His examination was extremely painful, and even though I stressed this to him, he made no effort to be gentle. So when the examination just wasn’t working, he seemed to get really annoyed with me. Also, from the first moment he looked at me, he immediately started talking about hygiene, and just told me to shower more often and wash my clothes properly. I listened, of course, him being the doctor and all, but it still hurt. He made me feel dirty. When he started suggesting things other doctors had recommended that I had already tried (obviously made no effort to check my history), and refused to listen to what I thought it might be, I started crying. Then he just walked out of the room saying only, “Okay, thanks.” Another doctor diagnosed me with vestibulitis caused by the bc pill. Which is what I suggested to him.
