De Diamond is so knowledgeable (he is Assoc Prof). I love his sense of humour – he has S very very busy & doesn’t have time to chat. Many Patients love to talk about themselves which takes up his precious time. Trust him he knows what he is doing. A lot of us oldies do tend to waffle which is wasting Dr Diamonds valuable time. He is highly respected by GO’s, Specialist & Pharacists I will definitely stay with him. I’m not worried about bedside manner I just want to be well cared for.

The bedside manner of this doctor is appalling , I was charged a fortune to get no information at all. He didn’t want to let me tell him anything I was concerned about. I left with a prescription for pills and no idea as to why I feel unwell because he didn’t think I needed any tests done . Every time I tried to tell him some of my symptoms he just interrupted me and rudely said ‘I don’t care about that’ Trust Me Find a better endocrinologist !

My introduction to Dr Diamond was watching him loudly berate another patient in the public waiting area. During this dressing down, which continued for over 10 minutes even after they went into the consulting room with door left open, he disclosed several confidential facts about the patient to all and sundry.

He may be knowledgeable about some things but in relation to the issues I was sent to him about he was clueless and out of date. For example he stated with great certainty that the time that a particular medication stayed in the body was about 3-4 weeks when in reality it is less than 1 day (according to medical texts and also consistent with blood tests / measurements of my use of the medication). In relation to other important issues concerning my treatment he seemed quite unfamiliar with the last 30 years of research.

His abrasiveness is legendary among doctors and patients alike.

All in all a complete waste of time. The only positive was that he bulk billed me.

So incredibly rude and zero bedside manner following the stillbirth of my son.

I have been seeing Professor Diamond for about 7yrs. If you are serious about getting better and are ready to take his advise, he will change your life for the better. After being on a treatment plan with him for graves disease, I have stopped taking my medication completely. Words cannot describe what this means for me. He doesn't mince words but you shouldn't take your health for granted either.

Extremely knowledgeable and professional. Got my condition under control within months and worked to reduce medication as much as possible.

After being on prolia for years I suffered bone loss in my jaw and had to have all my teeth and implants removed and to proceed with all-on-4 surgery I needed a letter from Dr Terry Diamond. Having made an appointment which was a month before I could see him, I asked for my referrals and called 3 times in that month and still never received them. When I saw him he stated I don’t have your results (of course you don’t I never received my referrals) I had to go back 3 weeks later for results and get my letter. So he delayed my surgery for 2 months and I now can’t eat solid foods till end of January. No Xmas dinner for me, I hope he enjoys his

Terry Diamond diagnosed me with Osteoarthritis. A very painful condition which came as a terrible shock to me. He advised me there was no cure and I had to live with it. Maybe a spinal op but not guaranteed success. I asked if I was going to get a hump he said yes. PanadolOsteo was and is my only form of relief. I have now years later found bone can be built up but this was not imparted to me by him. This man has no empathy, no people skills, maybe he’s been in his job I don’t say calling for too long . It’s just a money making enterprise to him where he plays God. And his fees are astronomical But when you’re desperate?

I was recomended to see Dr Diamond after a previous endocrinologist couldn’t figure out my issues. I brought my support person with me as I have communication difficulties due to neurodivergence. I found that Dr Diamond did not respect that I needed time to answer his questions and he seemed frustrated or annoyed with me for not answering quickly or with the answer he wanted me to say. He often asked me a question then told me the answer. I felt railroaded and he didn’t acknowledge my support persons input. He did physical tests on me without explaining what he was about to do and I have some long term injuries which he aggregated. Had he told me he was about to bend my thumb back I would have said no. I talked to my gp about what he wrote back to the GP and the letter is factually incorrect about my medical history in many places. This would be because he didn’t want to listen to me. Unfortunately having lots of knowledge doesn’t mean anything if you don’t listen to your patient.
