Racist doctor & hate black women .....Do yourself a big favour dont go there

I’ve been seeing Dr. S for years. He’s so supportive, and he really takes the time to listen, whether it be on the phone, in person, or on video chat. Because of him, I’ve been able to get the proper care I need, after fighting for years and years to be heard. Finding the right doctor is so important, and so difficult. I can’t recommend him enough!

Professional and kind, I recommend him. I'm an international student and have been struggling but twice he has seen me on a drop in basis and provided wonderful care, I'm very grateful to him,and the front staff.

I’ve seen this doctor a few times and he was horrible, negligent, rude, patronizing and quite frankly misogynistic. He once accused me of faking my symptoms… and I had to fight for him to finally grant the testing that the ER had suggested. In the end, through a diff. doc, I was diagnosed with a nerve disorder. The next time I saw him he didn’t even bother to bring me in to a room or come out. He wrote my b12 count on a piece of paper and gave it to the receptionist or someone to give it to me.. with no guidance or discussion when I was suffering with deficiencies. I asked to receive my full results and again, he didn’t even come out of the room (there were no other patients there, it was dead)… and then he gave the reception the paper to give to me and it turned out I had other deficiencies on there, one quite severe and he scribbled something on the side of the paper saying to take a supplement. In the end I took shots and prescription levels of the supplements because my deficiencies were severe. This doctor should not be allowed to practice. He’s a terrible person.

I went to their clinic twice now. Never waited longer than 10mins and Dr Stendardo was always patient and would listen and give a proper referral. Can recommend him!!!

I really needed to see a doctor, having recently moved to Toronto and realizing that it takes months to get an appointment. The online reviews for Appletree Medical Centre seemed decent, without a long wait involved, so I tried the one on Dundas Street.
I checked the clinic’s website, and it said that the wait was for 15 minutes. I went, checked in on the machines and waited and waited and waited . . . for 1 ½ hours! The worst part of the waiting was that I was taken to the examination room, a horrible little place with no windows, where I ended up waiting–patiently–for 45 minutes.
Dr. Stendardo finally came in with no apologies or explanations. He had an aggressive attitude; perhaps he was having a bad day. We all have bad days. I needed to get checked out so I was unfailingly polite. He, on the other hand, was rude and obnoxious.
I saw him for no more than 5-10 minutes, during which time he prescribed several tests and sent me on my way. It is without exaggeration that I say it was one of the worst experiences I have had with a doctor. As a patient who needed medical attention, what I got from Dr. Stendardo was a lousy attitude. Even if he was having a bad day, there was no excuse for his behavior.
I have contemplated taking legal action against Dr. Stendardo, perhaps even filing a grievance. I decided, ultimately, that abusive people like him don’t deserve any more of my time or energy. Fortunately, I was able to find an excellent doctor at Mount Sinai Hospital a few weeks later. She is what a doctor is supposed to be: a good listener, a thorough diagnostician, and ultimately, someone who actually cares about her patients.

Very disappointed with Dr Stendardo! Very arrogant, does not try to find a solution, does not help AT ALL ((. Visited him many times as this Walk-in close to my work, every time the visit is a waste of time. Avoid this doctor!
