UC Irvine Medical Center is the place to go to in Southern California if you have something complex. They have the best doctors there and can always figure out what you have. My cousin had a large skull base tumor which had been called a meningioma. He went and saw the doctors there and they said it was an acoustic neuroma. It was operated on by Drs. Linskey and Djalilian. His facial nerve was completely normal right after the surgery. He had been told that he had a 30-50% chance of facial paralysis at another institution in LA. Definitely the best place to go for complex problems.

I went into kidney failure and ended up in ICU for 7 days. Was told an enlarged prostate completely blocked my bladder and I needed surgery. I searched for four months for the best surgeon and the most state of the art procedure with the least side effects. I have a medical background so I knew what to look for. His skill prevented me from having any of the normal side effects of this type of surgery and now I feel like I’m 16 yrs old again in that part of the male anatomy. Dr. Louie saved my life and got me back to better than normal life because of his skill and attention to detail during the operation. For those of you with prostate or other urological trouble, male or female, please do your research. Dr. Louie gets a 10/10 and I highly recommend him.
