📋Overview

Congenital Hip Dysplasia, often referred to as developmental dysplasia of the hip, involves an abnormal formation of the hip socket or the head of the femur. This structural misalignment can result in a hip joint that is loose, partially out of place, or completely dislocated.

Although the condition is frequently present at birth, clinical observations indicate that the hip joint may continue to develop abnormally throughout early childhood. The severity can range from minor instability in the joint to significant structural abnormalities of the acetabulum.
