dr nohr is an excellent doctor and surgeon, as long as everything is going ok with surgeries etc., but if for a second, you challenge him or fall a little from the norm,he’ll bruch you off as your own personal failure. In 1998, I had gastric bypass, and in the years to follow, I lost a significant amount of weight. However, just last year, the weight started to come back on. As anyone would, I panicked, and booked an appt. Dr Nohr assured me that the weight gain was only because I “ate too much”…he never, for one second, considered the fact that in the past 8 years, I have lost my father, my brother, my mom had a serious debilitating stroke, I had two children, and last, but not least, I have b12 and iron defiencies, that have caused depression, and brain disfunction that, in turn, have caused weight gain, hypothyroidism, hair loss, and unusual hormone imbalance. He just “assumed” that I ate too much and never considered too much else, cause Heaven forbid he could be challenged.

I have had reason to see several doctrors of late, Dr. Nohr being one of them. THe wait time to actually have a consultation with him was two years and four months however well worth the wait. He was HONEST and told me he was well aware that what he did was painful and dangerous as well he told me gastric bypass had the potential to add up to seven years on my life. This excites me. He agreed to book my surgery right then for eleven months later. This time is helpful in becoming psychologically prepatred for the drastic physical changes. He answered AA my questions with facts and reasearched infomration. This is important to me as well as his professional opinion. Lastle he directed me to some very helpful literature on my procedure and invited me to call should I need to. Thanks Dr. Nohr thus far and look forward to January when we change my life.
