I met Dr. Raman April 19 (yesterday) for a colonoscopy which I was unsure of but he came and talked with me before and after the procedure which put me at ease and as to some of the comments on here I do understand why he would tend to speak with the other person as you would still be a little groggy waking up from being put to sleep . I thought he was a nice man, seemed to care. as for his secretary I had to miss an appointment and she was able to fit me in 4 days later which I'm greatful for.

Takes his time to explain your illness very personal if you not taking care of yourself he will tell you how it is I eat healthier than my last 40 years the only doctor that’s ever called me up on a Sunday afternoon to ask me how iam doing

I found him to be very knowledgable and while somewhat direct, it was information I needed to hear. I went in for a scope and while I was there he addressed my chronic migraines that I had written in my intake form. Not one Doctor in 20 years looked at my birth control pill as a cause. He told me to stop them immediately. While I was hesitant, I decided to give his theory a try as literally nothing else had worked. He was right. Ive not had a migraine since. That was a year ago. So I commend him for his knowledge and giving me back my quality of life. He did not have to take the time to speak to me about matters not relevant to my GI system. He was thorough and extremely helpful! His staff was also very welcoming and knowledgable.

I see a lot of negative comments, but my experience with him was really good, not rude nor nasty to patients. Sure some there are some recommendations that he makes are a little bit out there, but overall he is a very good doctor who genuinely cares. I would recommend him, and I have been scoped twice by him

I’ve been to Dr Raman twice for colonoscopy for widening schatzki ring in the esophagus. Explains what he is going to do before procedure, talks to you after procedure and follow up 6 weeks later. Is sometimes difficult to understand due to accent & talking fast but will repeat if you tell him you didn’t understand. As we believe in natural products over medication where possible, so appreciate his info re natural products, but I’m not sure he listens or reads chart, as he does seem to rhyme off the same info to almost everyone. During teleconference, he does say to call him if you have any questions or concerns.

I’m still confused to what my treatment is suppose to be. He shamed me in front of his Medical Student like I’m some sort of child and that western culture is to blame for my issues. I took my father along even though I was an adult for support and he ignored 99% of what I said and gave all the instructions to my father like I’m some sort of idiot.
After that he recommended Homeopathy stuff.
Either way I felt violated from this experience.
