I left the clinic in tears. He dismissed the main reason for my visit. Told me to see a psychologist instead of dealing with my low testosterone levels. Asked no questions and just wanted to cut me open. Do not recommend to anyone.

Dr. Azer performed surgery on my abdomen. I had a painful lump a few days later. He didn’t even look. He just said to expect pain after surgery as he walked out the door. I went to another doctor the next day who discovered a large abscess at the wound site. He was appalled at Dr Azer as it was somewhat serious and needed antibiotics. He performed another abdominal surgery and now I no longer have feeling in a 2 inch high band below my belly button. Again, no look just told me to wait and it’ll be fine. The feeling didn’t come back. He also didn’t take out the entire affected organ so I had to get another surgeon to go back in and complete it. It’s worth travelling to a different city for care.

Condescending and rude. The first question asked was a cold "why are you here?" He also made unwelcome comments about my job and how much I earned - what does that have to do with getting an IUD? I wouldn't trust him to apply a bandaid.

Not a good experience. He opened the door and entered wearing dirty clothes. He started the conversation by asking what I did for a living and what company I worked for. He handed me a pamphlet on Ablations and never did ask me what issues I was having. When I told him I had already had an ablation he said “no I don’t think so”. I said oh I for sure had one. He left the room and returned in a few minutes with a sample pack of “the patch” and said this might help regulate things. I told him of the excessive bleeding and extreme pain and how I can’t miss work anymore. He told me again to use the patch. I asked how it differs from the pill as I’m old and overweight and the side effects scare me. He told me there are no side effects with the patch and I should start it today. He is not correct! The patch had a higher dose of Estrogen than the pill and the likelihood of side effects are greater. And this might not be important, (and not to be rude) but I actually got nauseous from the bad odour (I think breath). I puked on the way to my car. Horrible

Just terrible, told my mom that her uterus pain was 'all in her head'. Denied her any sort of treatment or help. His assistant is unprofessional and rude. This man should not me a gynecologist

Dr. Azer helped me when another physician in Edmonton was a problem. He spent a long time answering my questions and explaining to me which that other physician did not do. It really showed how incompetent that Edmonton physician is.

Worst “doctor” ever!!!!! I have never in my life had such a painful experience during a HSG test. First I waited 2 hours for my appointment. And then because he was late, he shot the dye up so quick that I started to cramp right away!! He never explained the fact that the tubes might spasm which may cause them to look like they are blocked.
I almost started to cry during the procedure (and I have had gone through a natural birth without an epidural!) He later proceeded to tell me that both my tubes were blocked and that I should call the IVF clinic right away because I have basically no chance of getting pregnant naturally. Of course I was devastated. Good thing I got a second opinion!! Stay away from this doctor!!!!!!

Will never see this doctor again, wouldn’t even let him touch me if it was an emergency. Not helpful as ever rough during procedures.

Dr. Azer was the doctor of both my youngest children. He was awesome and I would recommend him to anyone. My youngest was a New Year’s Day baby and he left having dinner with his family to come and born my boy. He was always gentle and very helpful when I went to see him. I highly recommend him to anyone.
