Dr Small replaced my hip a year ago, and from the moment I came out of the anesthetic, I’ve had no pain at all. To my mind, it was a spectacularly successful procedure. He also adjusted the length of my legs, which were slightly different. I wish all my surgery worked out this well.

I’m a 52 yo male that had never been in hospital or had surgery!
Around 6 weeks ago I had hip replacement surgery on my right hip.
Tim was amazing, explained details for me to understand and in a way that was easy on my mind.
The professionalism of this surgery starts at the front door with the office manager Cynthia who is always available for any concerns.
Now 6 weeks later I’m about to have my second surgery (left hip) replaced by Tim and would recommend this surgeon to anyone for a completely stress free, open and shared experience!

I had my 12 month follow up with Tim today after getting a reminder last week which also included the referral for x-ray, everyone was on time which is important as I am back working full time.
He was happy to see me and like me, completely happy with the result of my hip replacement surgery.
After being in excruciating pain for far too long I am now pain free and fully mobile.
Tim did his part with the surgery, I did mine with physio and exercise with the result being I’m back to my normal very active life style.
He has a great bedside manner, as well as answers to all of my questions, I have no hesitation in recommending Tim if you are contemplating surgery of this type.
At 67, I can now look forward to a long and active pain free life in the future.
Sincere thanks to Tim and his very professional team.

I had a bad fall breaking my Tibia and Fibia.
Luckily for me along came Dr Tim Small with his plates and screws and he put me back together again.
At my after care visits, he showed me before and after x-rays with a full explanation for the future of my leg and recovery. He took his valuable time with me which made me feel valued.
I would highly recommend him to family, friends and any one needing a orthopaedic surgeon.
I am glad to be on his list of patients with a successful operation.

Tim conducted bilateral knee replacement surgery for me in October 2020. His approach and professional manner was always reassuring, and his capacity to make me feel cared for and informed was/remains exemplary. Tim always provided me with personalised encouragement, reassuring me pre and post operation, and during all consultations. I cannot thank him enough for the positive physical change he has brought to my life.

I had a hip replacement in October 21, 2020. Before I was suffering with pain for a year, I couldn’t walk and do my everyday routine, I even couldn’t sleep because of pain. I was so lucky to have Dr Tim Small as my surgeon. The operation was successful, I felt the difference of life quality straight away after it. In a few days I was full of life and in a few weeks I felt so strong and energized that I haven’t felt for ages. I can’t express how much I grateful to Dr Small and his team. And special thanks to the anesthetist, who was extremely professional. I have some experience because this is my third joint replacement. And I would say the best one. I was really impressed by Dr Small’s attitude; he is so friendly and supportive.

Dr Tim Small and his Team have performed wonders with my fractured elbow, ulna and radius after an accident in Feb 2020. Dr Small’s positive demeanour, attitude and enthusiasm reassured me immensely initially as I thought I would never regain strength and flexibility. Within 6 months my elbow and arm were working again! Tim has a great manner and gives you, the patient the confidence to push yourself towards recovery. I would recommend Dr Small’s expertise to ensure the best possible recovery. Thanks again Tim.

I met Tim on July 15 this year. I have had breast cancer with bone metastasis for nine years. I began experiencing groin pain and had difficulty weight bearing. I had spent an entire day in emergency in a NSW regional hospital. The registrars proposed urgent surgery without informing my husband and I as to the details and how it was related to my symptoms. After that traumatic day, my oncologist referred us to Dr Tim Small. What a contrast! Tim walked us through all of my scans and showed us a fracture in my femur was imminent. He carefully explained the proceedure of a femeral rod and nail, and showed recent xrays of one he had performed. We requested bloodless surgery which posed no problem to Tim or his team. Surgery was scheduled for July 17. What an amazing man! Reasuring, caring, very sympathic to cancer patients, and professional. The surgery itself was as neat as a pin. Four very small cuts along my leg. Healed beautifully. Pain free within a couple of weeks. In my opinion Tim is a master surgeon.
