I crushed my foot when my motorbike fell on it. I broke almost every bone in my foot and dislocated the larger ones. Tim operated on it a day after the accident and then again 4 months after to remove the metal. The surgery went very well and I am anticipating a full recovery with no limp which I find amazing. My accident happened through COVID code red, meaning no visitors allowed. I was in hospital for 5 nights and Tim’s kindness and reassuring warmth was like a balm. I highly recommend him for his fabulous skills as well as his kindness and genuine care.

Dr Tim Small – you have given me a quality of life back.
I cannot recommend Tim and his team enough. I had a knee arthroscopy to repair scar tissue resulting from a TKR in 2021. A week later I am pain free and moving freely the very first time in 12 mths.
Tim takes the time to ensure you understand the procedure and makes you feel really comfortable with what the procedure entails and what to expect (more than honest).
The team made the entire process quick and easy and never left me with unanswered questions.
I would recommend Tim over and over. I know in time I will need a second TKR Tim will be the only surgeon that I will trust to do this my only regret is that I did not find
him sooner.
A thousand thank you’s is just not enough. Also a special mention to Cynthia Tim is very fortunate to have you.

Dr Tim Small is an excellent surgeon with a great patient manner who looked after me perfectly, provided the right advice and consultation to help me manage my injury and achieve my number one goal – getting back to playing football. I would recommend Dr Tim to anyone needing his services.
I dislocated my ankle and broke the fibula playing football in July 2020. Dr Tim saw me the next day in ward and was the first to reassure me that injury can be sorted and I’d be back playing. He managed the wait for my swelling to go down well, surgery to place the plate went well and my rehab meant I was back playing football in December 2020. I then player through the 2021 season and had the plate removed in October 2021. That surgery was also successful, with a very neat wound. I’m back playing football and it’s like the injury never happened at all, with the scar the only reminder.
I have recovered well and am very thankful for the high standard of care provided by Dr Tim, the anaesthetists he works with and Cynthia.

I can’t recommend Dr Tim Small enough given my extremely positive experience in operating my left meniscus, solving a problem I had for several years.
Dr Tim Small took the time to explain in depth the kind of surgery required to fix my left meniscus, he was calm, reassuring and very patient considering I do not speak English very well. Compared to the surgery I had to my right meniscus 8 yrs ago, when I required crutches to walk for days, a special tutor for weeks and pain killers during my convalescence, after Dr Small’s surgery in 2021, I walked out of the theatre on my own feet, without any walking aid and feeling absolutely no pain at all – I just couldn’t believe it and, even more incredible, I was back on the Judo tatami 3 weeks after surgery!
I will always be grateful to Dr Small and his staff for his/their professional approach, friendly manners, knowledge and efficiency.
Dr Small’s nurse personally checked on me in the days after the surgery to verify how I was feeling and the follow up visit by Dr Small was punctual and confirmed just what a great orthopedic surgeon he is. Grazie so much for everything!

Dr Tim Small – you gave me back my life!!! After months of excruciating hip pain and months of struggling in a horizontal position to get around – you did my total right hip surgery and I feel fantastic. Very caring, helpful, always takes time to explain . Tim followed up after surgery and was always patient and approachable. My knee surgery went well and he went to a lot of trouble to organise hip surgery for my husband during COVID – husbands operation also went well . Thankyou Tim and Cynthia who always made sure my messages were answered.
