I was so lucky to find Dr. Tim Small to perform my left hip replacement after suffering with pain and mobility issues for a number of years. From my first interaction with Tim I knew I was in very good hands. The procedure was explained in great detail along with the computer generated analysis of my hip which would assist the surgical replacement. My post operative recovery and Rehab was organised by Dr. Small firstly at St. Vincents Private and subsequently at Kareena Private. His Practice Manager, Cynthia was always helpful and very efficient. It is now three months since the surgery and I am able to walk normally again without pain. I thank you once again and I recommend Dr. Small very highly.

I smashed my patellar before Christmas 7 months ago. Orthopaedic surgeon Tim Small was highly recommended by another semi retired Orthopaedic surgeon. Tim operated the next day on my Patella but made sure I was well aware of the procedure and recovery. After the surgery and recuperation Tim followed up closely and thoroughly with a truthfulness of what I had to do, and encouragement which I needed at times. He was available to me anytime. Have now had pins and wires removed I am back to doing what I love with little side effect. I would not hesitate to recommend Tim Steele to anybody needing the services of an orthopaedic surgeon. Cynthia in his office was so warm, supportive and professional also adding to a very positive surgery experience.

I’m a 27 year old male and had torn my ACL, meniscus and cracked my tibia in my left knee during a game of basketball in September 2020. Fast forward 6 months post ops and I’m back to normal. The care that I received from Dr Small and his office manager, Cynthia, was incredible and they both have a really good sense of humour.
Tim is very good with his patients. He made me feel very comfortable from day one and talked me through every step of the process and patiently answered all my questions. He’s very good at follow up appointments and tracking the progress and suggesting any corrective measures to be taken.
After my ACL reconstruction and 2 rounds of joint manipulations in order to get my movement and range of motion back in my knee, I can confidently say I’m now back to normal and am able to run again.
Cynthia as well is very good with everyone that comes to visit. She’s warm and made me feel very comfortable from the start.
I would highly recommend Tim for your needs!

Dr Small was amazing!!!! Busted my meniscus at work and two weeks post op was able to return to work. Straight after surgery was able to stand with minimal pain (especially in comparison to what it was before!). Everything was handled very swiftly and done expertly. The level of care was fantastic. And then you have Cynthia too… between the both of them the care I received was top notch and couldn’t recommend anyone better, they went above and beyond…

I had my left knee replaced on 5/2/21. I was very nervous about undergoing this surgery however after meeting Dr Small and having a very detailed consultation my fears were reduced. I was out of bed the following day after surgery and within 8 days was walking without an aid. I went back to work after 6 weeks completely pain free. I have resumed all normal activities. I would highly recommend Dr Tim Small to anyone suffering from knew paid. PS I am a female aged 62.

I am 84 years old and had a full knee replacement last month by Dr. Small. After hearing it takes a long time to recover from the surgery I was very surprised to be walking without crutches or other support only 11 days after my operation. Suffice to say, I am extremely happy with my result. Dr. Small did an amazing job – I am walking comfortably and my leg is now completely straight again. I highly recommend Dr. Small to anyone considering knee surgery, he is also an extremely kind person and made me feel very confident and happy all along the way.
