Agree with the previous commenter in that he definitely is into maximizing his billing, or so it seems to me. Profit definitely seems to be his main concern, not the patient. Someone else has suggested that they think he pushes drugs. This, too, is my perception of him - he does, and expensive ones at that. (He doesn't seem to like seeing me take generic bramds. He will also try to put you on a lower milligammage so you end up taking 2 pills a day instead of one, which, again, can be more expensive, especially if you don't have private coverage. I too, find him arrogant and condescending, unfortunately. I myself would call it shallow and quite rude. Yes, his staff is mostly young females, and there seems to be quite a lot of turnaround. Maybe he is not the easiest person to work with? But that's just my impression. Yes, they do push online bookings, but those are pain in the neck, and the online waiting times are very unreliable, because the idea of doing everything online and quick is in itself very unwise. If I should choose a word that would describe him best, it would be "quick" and then "money". When you put it together, it sums him up quite well. Oh, hang on... his office also referred me to a doctor with v e r y bad reputation... this in itself should have you alarmed....

I’ve seen this doctor a few times and he was horrible, negligent, rude, patronizing and quite frankly misogynistic. He once accused me of faking my symptoms… and I had to fight for him to finally grant the testing that the ER had suggested. In the end, through a diff. doc, I was diagnosed with a nerve disorder.
The next time I saw him he didn’t even bother to bring me in to a room or come out. He wrote my b12 count on a piece of paper and gave it to the receptionist or someone to give it to me.. with no guidance or discussion when I was suffering with deficiencies. I asked to receive my full results and again, he didn’t even come out of the room (there were no other patients there, it was dead)… and then he gave the reception the paper to give to me and it turned out I had other deficiencies on there, one quite severe and he scribbled something on the side of the paper saying to take a supplement. In the end I took shots and prescription levels of the supplements because my deficiencies were severe. This doctor should not be allowed to practice. He’s a terrible person.

Extremely thorough and patient with my girlfriend when went in to discuss accutane treatment for her. He also struck the right balance between explaining complications and the difference between a possibility and a likelihood. He also helped dispel some cultural rumors from her family in a way that was not disrespectful while still keeping firm to giving truthful and accurate information based only on the science.

This doc is great. I’ve honestly never had a doctor take the time to explain illness and treatment. All doc’s are overworked and stressed out and it’s nice to see a doctor that still has time to spend with patents.
